*waves* I'm new here- not just to this thread, but to Broadway world, and I'd just like to say hi.
I had the privilege of seeing Sweeney Todd for the first time yesterday at the matinee, and even now I don't think I can articulate how much I loved it. Manoel's performance especially impressed me, and as I love what I've heard of his solo work as well, I just had to lose my posting virginity to this thread.
Also, I'll hopefully be going to Broadway Under the Stars tomorrow. =) We shall see.
I do have a question, though. I'm unable to download any of his songs found here: http://www.myspace.com/manophonic other than "Another Day" (which I love). Am I doing something wrong?

Welcome Monica! And this: "I just had to lose my posting virginity to this thread." is one of the greatest things I've read in a while. 
I never downloaded the songs because I tried once and had a problem. I use this recording device on my laptop to get the songs. If you want, I could PM you them.

You're not the only one, Monica; something is wrong on the page. Mano's trying to figure out which downloads aren't working, and then from there, I guess he can figure out why. Right now, I get an error that tells me "file not found."

Yep, that's what I got as well. Although I can listen to them on the web page, I can't download them. Also, the friend that gave me the link told me there was a song "Don't Feed the Beast" on there, and I don't see it at all now. Was he mistaken?
