I didn't think Brent should go this week either, but I did think he looked like a complete a**. I wouldn't go for a product he was pushing.
Anyone watching?
I think it'll be the team minus the two Jewish people who'll lose, and they'll blame the fact that they were shorthanded, and Donald will say they should've been more flexible (which was his "message" this week).
Not a fan of Theresa. As out of line as the Russian guy's comment was about wishing her brain was as big as her boobs...I hate to say it but she doesn't seem like the brightest bulb in the box.
Thank God there's finally another black woman on a reality show who's not crazy, delusional or egotistical. (First Marshawn, now this gal.)
If these are the best candidates they could come up with, I don't care who wins really. How do you NOT know you can skeet shoot in a public park? Hello?! Do these business savvy people lack ANY common sense?
Haha, I love the way they show Brent either eating or slowly doing nothing.

Kudos though for the golf cart races. Although that was a financial risk lol..
The candidates seem to get worse and worse each season. Not a single stand-out so far.
I don't know if it was wise of Theresa to name Lenny right away if she didn't have to. My hunch is she'll try to pin it all on being shorthanded, and put the blame on Lenny for the generator problem, but ultimately, it wasn't the generator that was the problem; it was her executive decision to use models and an offensive comedienne.
Jane2, you feeling empathy pains for Brent?
That comedienne got SEVENTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS?????
Tiff, right after they showed Brent eating, I wrote bagels down on my shopping list.
As much as I strongly dislike Tarek (and have since the beginning) - he did try over and over to insist on a theme. Theresa was a poor leader. She should be fired. But Lenny should also go tonight too. Not because whether or not the task failed because of his lack of generator.. but because he lacked any TEAM spirit when it mattered. He shut down "That's not my problem" was his kiss of death statement.
I'm not kidding, Jane, when I say I made a mental note of the exact same thing.
$1700 is obscene. The comedienne was probably there for, what, 45 minutes?
I'm not too clear why Tarek was really to blame (although it was a savvy move on Theresa's part since Trump has had it out for him from round 1). He suggested astroturf. She dismissed it in their original pow-wow and said it wasn't necessary. Why he didn't bring that up yet in the boardroom is beyond me.
Ooh, boardroom now. My prediction is if one goes, it's Theresa. If two, it's also Lenny.
And good riddance. As he said, fire the whole team. Just take him with them.
Well, as Trump would say, that was a "yooooge disaster"! The right person went home. Tarek shouldn't have even been there before Charmaine or the blond guy who was supposed to educate the models. Ultimately, the models and the comedienne did them in.
He fired the right one. The main reason I felt she should go was her failure to recognize just what went the 'wrongest', failed to bring in the right people.
I think I just tend to believe that aside from exceptional circumstances (like a team mate lying to you, and giving you a reasonable expectation that something will be done according to plan, and then things go awry), the PM bears the most responsibility, and thus, accountability.
One of Tarek's problems is that he seems to have difficulty defending himself. He asked for Astroturf, in the beginning, to set up a proper golf course and was shut down right away by Theresa. He should have mentioned that when defending himself but he just seemed to get nervous. I was not a fan of his when he in the last show he kept mentioning that he was a member of Mensa. I agree that he did not deserve to be fired tonight. Charmaine was very lucky that Theresa was stupid enough not bring her into the board room and that's what got her fired as well as her weak leadership skills. I'm not a fan of anyone in this group so far.
I agree, pab. It's not even just defending himself - he can't seem to effectively express his points. Either he's too nervous or he's too long-winded, but for the few seconds that he could've gotten Theresa's attention in the planning meeting, he danced around instead of spitting out, "I think we need a theme NOW." and "Again, we DO need astroturf." I don't think he'll last long unless he fixes that.
Well all we know is what they show us as well. We don't know if he later asserted himself and was shot down anymore than we know if Brent did anything other than eat at the meeting.
Yup; I kind of pitied Brent, honestly. I wouldn't be surprised if he spent maybe 5 minutes eating in that meeting, but they inserted a snippet every once in a while to make it look like that's all he did. I'm sure everyone else took their 5 minutes to eat at some point too. Coupled with all the fat jokes during the shark "reward", the editing doesn't paint Canadians or fat people in a good light.
The only thing that seemed irrefutable was Lenny walking away from Theresa and that guy regarding the generator. The whole interaction and his response to them was simply bad, no two ways around it.
Looking forward to Brent's meltdown next week tho.
Against Charmaine, it seems, no less. She seems pretty useless so far, but not a strong or aggressive personality - can't wait to see what she does to set him off and what he does to make her cry.
Oh yeah-the crying. I have two points to make here. Well, actually I don't. I keep forgetting this is a SHOW. I was about to express wonderment at their choice to even include a man like Brent on the show, but of course I know why.
The other point is that girl who, upon learning that Brent was not fired, immediately ran into the bathroom and became hysterical. It makes for good tv, but I'm sure that little scene of much too much emotion and fear of another contestant has cancelled out any chances she would have had.
Funny enough, though, she was the successful project manager this week!
If I was going to have an emotional meltdown, I wouldn't do so in front of anyone who's looking for signs of weakness and will likely use it against me in the future. Couldn't she have kept her cool until she reached the bathroom, and then made up a lie about their chili dinner for why she needs a few more minutes?
I felt like they were painting a bad picture of Brent. That or maybe he really is useless and they were just conveying that.
But then they show how lazy he was about the trashcans and stuff. This is a lousy group so far.
Okay so here's another question. What religious holidays were they observing? That will give us a time frame of when this season was taped. I had assumed that the new season would have already been in production but Trump ends each show asking for people to audition and sending them to the website. I know that in previous seasons one season was airing while the next one was taping. Maybe because they are going to L.A. they are taping next season's shows later.
Hmm...

The application says the final selection was August/September 2005, and contestants had to be willing to reside for "up to 8 weeks in the Fall, 2005".
The most religious Jewish holiday is Yom Kippur, which is in Sept.
