Anyone watching?
Is Charmaine crying out of guilt, or just from the knowledge that she just narrowly escaped the chopping block?
BTW, according to TWOP, last week's task was filmed over Rosh Hashana - when is that?

I think she's crying about the latter.
I haven't been watching this season, so I'm finally getting into it!
Rosh Hashana was in September...I think.
Rosh Hashana is in Sept.
I just know they brought Brent onto the show for the drama, but I feel sorry for the poor shlemiel.
Totally not nice (or appropriate) for the PM to basically tell him he couldn't do the pitch because he was fat. I doubt that was the real reason - if you have to qualms about being harsh to his face, why not just be honest and say it's because he's a blundering mess?
Any predictions on who'll succeed? My guess is the "passing from one generation to the other" will win based on the originality of the idea, unless something gets botched with the billboard.

That concept might bring them a win, as I see tv commercials with the exact same message.
Me too, Jane. I think the trick is having a catchy slogan or theme. The other group doesn't have anything except a chick pouring cereal in her mouth - no message, no idea.
(BTW, Charmaine is pretty, but she's kind of useless, isn't she?)
Well, I'm surprised. I wasn't enthralled by the banner of the girl pouring the cereal in her mouth, and the more they kept mentioning how "unique" and "original" it was, the more I went, really?? But actually the rational makes sense - simple is better. I still think the generation one would be better for a marketing campaign though.
I don't know if Brent will be the one gone this week - can you fire him for not doing anything when you're the one who delegated him his useless duties and he fulfilled them?
ETA: Oh for the love of God, get rid of Brent. He reminds me of Jon Lovitz in every creepy obnoxious role he's played. "I. Am. A. Nuclear. Weapon."
(Weapon of mass...)
LOL! "I'm a nuclear weapon in the boardroom" "KEEP . ME. OUT. OF . THE . BOARDROOM.
I love it!
BTW Tiff - I LOVED the billboard that won.

NExt season in LA?
"I think they are all a bunch of....people"
He just said "just desserts"
I raise my bagel in honor of Brent.
Good riddance. Now this team better rock since they have no reason for suckage.
The more I watch Ivanka, the more I like her. When she just sits, she looks like a blank-faced, empty debutante heiress bitch. And then she opens her mouth and speaks articulately and she's usually right on the money. I'm now thinking she's awesomeness embodied.
I would tend to agree, except that she and her father were on the Pew a couple weeks ago. She didn't utter more than one sentence. She 'went' to Wharton. That could mean she was there for a week. That said, I like her.
Brent blew it
All he had to do was sit there & keep his mouth shut. Once he started spouting off, he was a goner
I didn't watch it, but was there a guest on tonight named Daryl Brewster?
He's my bio teacher's brother and the CEO of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and apparantly, he was supposed to be a special guest or something. But they taped the show when he was working for Kraft, so maybe they cut him out since he is no longer working for them.
I don't recall a Daryl Brewster - they were dealing with Post products...(is that related to Kraft?) Who were the two judges this week, actually? A lady and a guy - the guy could've been Daryl.
Who's watching tonight? Last week's episode (cruise line commercial) didn't do much for me. I find, reading the TWOP recaps, that the vast majority of the contestants haven't made a single impression on me. Aside from Charmaine, Lenny, Tarek and Lee, I can't even recall what the contestants look like! (Tammy? Who? Leslie? WHO??)
Both of the commercials last week sucked; the shipwreck one was unclear and the other one was bland.
Here's to hoping tonight's is better!
Tiff, am I going to have to stay up until one am to discuss it with you? I can't tonight. I'm going to watch it in 20 minutes. There are no interesting people left since he fired that heavy guy.
Don't worry, I'm watching the East Coast airing in 20 minutes as well.

I just realized Apprentice is airing at 10:00 tonight. For once I don't have to tape it while I watch 24 (or vice versa).
TWO HOURS of "Deal Or No Deal" which ALSO PUSHES BACK "The Apprentice" by an hour? Bastards!
