Sure, why not, what the hell!
I've listened to the Concept Recording of Tale of Two Cities and I like the music better than I do The Pirate Queen. It is actually enjoyable. :O)

not a damn thing.
just think he was kind of hot as the gym towel strangler on CSI.
I think TALES OF TWO CITIES sounds like LES MISERABLES lite. A few nice songs but nothing that I think would make for a compelling musical.
Can anyone with the concept recording for A TALE OF TWO CITIES possibly be willing and uber-sweet-'n'-kind enough to share it with me? I'm DYING to hear the songs. Any help and insight would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
Best,

With hopes that someone on here can help me out.
I completely agree this thread is entirely premature, though I know that "Lady on a Carousel" is looking into a 2008 Broadway bow...so we shall see.
Xanadu will totally sweep everything and win in every category. Total payback for The Producers.
There are also shows planning on opening that haven't announced so officially yet.
Doesn't matter. It's all about the 'du.
The Tonys are finished. See they realize how many awards they owe performers and they can't live with the idea of more undeserving people getting them. So there will be no Tony 2008. Sorry for the inconvience.

"The one thing that I fear with this show (and I do think its gonna be a huge hit), is that it is going to turn into the MGM attraction at DisneyWorld with the number of very young children being brought to the theatre.
That totally ruined my "Mary Poppins" experience for me !!!"
#1 Rule for buying tickets to Disney on Broadway: Don't buy Matinees, buy 8:00 Performances
This is all ridiculous. It is WAYYY too early to tell. Also, does anyone know when "Catch Me if You Can" is aiming to hit Broadway?

I hardly ever buy matinees--- Did you ever see the number of children at 8:00PM Friday or Sat nite Disney shows?
I'll go 'head and and predict In The Heights as a winner. And I think I'm able to do that.
Why? Because In The Heights is one of the few 2007-2008 soon-to-be-on-Broadway show so far that has actually already been staged.
For audiences.
As much as I'm rooting for The Little Mermaid (and, hell, for Young Frankenstein too, even if I never will get to see it) I love In The Heights and hope it does wonderfully.

Don't you think that that the nominee commitee will want to honor new shows. Plus the critics seem to be the most excited about seeing the expensive shows such as A Tale Of Two Cities, Young Frankenstein, and The Little Mermaid. I think those three are locks. Still it is way too early. For all i know all three of these shows could flop (it would be unlikely but could happen.
I agree that it's way too early to predict anything. Not sure about Tale of Two Cities or TLM, but I think Young Frankenstein will definitely be nominated. Ask these questions in a few months.
OHHHH MYYYYYY GODDDD!
THE LITTLE MERMAID is sooooooo gonna win EVERY aaward.
I'm gonna like predict that like they get all five supporting acotr noms. and like especially an award for the FaBuLoUs Amneris frrom that play with the black girl and the white hottie. ohhhhh my goddd

TLM WILLL WIN EVERYTHING!
I BET U A BILLION TUBES OF LIP SMACKERS.
Fun to discuss, but way to early to early to take seriously.

I don't think the little mermaid will win every catergory but it will surely win at least 1. I think if she does the role right Sherie Rene Scott could win supporting actress
(FYI: I was kidding... or was I?)
I hope you were.

Interesting. I hadn't thought about that, but I could see it happening.
