Does anyone know if this is a new Cinderella tour going out next season, as I believe the First National is scheduled to conclude in San Francisco on May 8, 2016?
Worklight is putting Cinderella back out as a Non-equity tour, presumably bus and truck, although with no concrete dates, its hard to know if they are booking full weeks, split weeks, or one nighters. Female Principal Auditions are tomorrow, Male Principal auditions are next Tuesday, and minimums are higher than Rent/Mamma Mia from Worklight for next season.
They are probably going to need to reconcieve the entire set in order to bus and truck it.

Had a subscription in Cincinnati for six or seven years, then didn't renew after a so-so past couple of years; prices kept creeping up, but quality of shows didn't warrant the price tag. I guess a lot of people did the same because the lineup for this year looks pretty solid.
I was really expecting the HEDWIG tour to play Las Vegas for a week or two. Oh well.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
While we are finally getting Kinky Boots and Beautiful, we are stuck with Sound of Music, Little Mermaid and Illusionists (why is this touring - and why am I subjected to Broadway rates for it?!?). Season options are Book of Mornon and Riverdance (who's actually going to option that?!?)
I actually found the current tour of The Sound of Music to be delightful. Very strong cast all around, great direction, and the young lady who plays Maria (her name escapes me at the moment) is absolutely delightful.

I'm glad to read this! We get it at the end of March. I'm guessing the girls (14 year olds) will love it, then. :)
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (November 1-6)
An American in Paris (December 13-18 )
Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder (February 7-12)
The Little Mermaid (March 7-12)
Matilda (May 9-14)
Finding Neverland (June 6-11)
Optional Add-On:
Wicked (January 11-29)
I'll give them credit for listening to subscribers and getting mostly first-run tours this year, but I don't think I'm renewing this season simply because I'm not subscribing to a "Broadway" season that includes a magic show. I'll buy individual tickets to the two shows that interest me.
