I saw, too, but (unless it was a subtle and genius hint) I think that was the 8th tweet out of 13 in their thread. I agree it's unsurprising since two of the three shows had been announced in previous seasons, but were postponed. I'd probably expect them to also add 'Les Miz' since that is also from a previous season and there's room in the show's schedule.

Tootsie: November 4-6, 2022
My Fair Lady: January 27-29, 2023
Legally Blonde: April 28-30, 2023
Jesus Christ Superstar: June 9-11
Add-ons:
Stomp: December 2-3, 2022
R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Aretha Franklin Story: March 11-12, 2023"
Kind of feel like this is kind of bland for The State Theater. All non-equity I'm assuming.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
All non-equity-there aren't any equity tours playing split weeks next season, as Beautiful closed this past weekend, and Jersey Boys has dates through July, then closes with 2 weeks in Hawaii in September.
With how the pandemic messed with the timelines, there aren't many shows scaling down to split week/one-night scale next year, in the same way that, since Moulin Rouge and the first company of Six launched this Spring, there isn't that much new full-week product for next season, either. I'm not going to disclose details on the internet, but there are discrete reasons why the State doesn't have each of the other titles playing at it's scale. Next year was, for many venues, more difficult to book than the relaunch year was.
Come to my BroadwayCon talk on Touring Broadway for more details on all of this.
I’ve heard Pretty woman has one more equity season before heading out non-equity.

The new non-equity Book of Mormon tour still doesn't have a website.

The JAGGED tour is kicking off in Louisville end of August. Anyone have any casting news? I've heard Heidi is doing the tour plus a lot of cast members from the Broadway production. Any concrete info?

I assume that's where they're doing the tech rehearsals... and those two nights will be audience dress rehearsals? since it's only 2 nights 8/31 and 9/1... then they go right to Vegas and open there on 9/6
Broadway in Chicago has tweeted out emojis as hints of their upcoming season. They included a hand, a soldiers helmet, a microphone, and the Union Jack.
They accidentally tweeted, and have since deleted, yesterday announcing Jagged Little Pill. I assumed that was the hand. My other guesses were A Soldier’s Play, Tina, and a return engagement of Six.
I was able to track down the jagged little pill page on the Broadway in Chicago website. It will be playing the James M. Nederlander from April 10th through April 23rd.

There is a couple of week gap after Christmas for "Frozen" between the San Francisco (ending Dec. 30th), and San Diego (beginning Jan 18) tour stops. Does anyone know if these are vacation weeks, or if there is an unannounced tour stop?
