Well, friends, the final show of the season (per TONY eligibility) opens tonight! Let's post the notices here and discuss accordingly. Sending all my best to the perps populating the Golden!
Here's hoping they get the raves they deserve.
Seriously- this play and these performances deserve to be seen.
For what it's worth, word of mouth from people who have seen it seems to be very strong.
People are seeing it. They're just not paying for it.

The website says "12 Weeks Only" underneath the title. Has this always been the case or is this perhaps in response to low ticket sales?

Usher at the theater said they're selling tickets through July 23

They finally sent out a tweet from their official account, with a production photo/awards news. Hopefully that means the publicity will ramp up:

I noticed their Facebook is doing the same. Better late than never.
If the play ends up being successful, we might have a new kind of marketing on our hands. Step 1:Find a great play that's dirt cheap to produce.
Step 2: Don't market it at all before opening
Step 3: Fill the preview performances with people seeing the show for free
Step 4: Great word of mouth spreads
(Step 5): Rave reviews
(Step 6): Profit?
Matt Windman gives it a 2.5 out of 4...

I thought the formula was:
Step 1: Collect underpants
Step 2: ??????
Step 3: Profit

LA Times is positive:
"“A Doll’s House, Part 2” shifts rapidly from laughter to fury to sorrow to somber acceptance. I can’t think of many performers capable of Metcalf’s fearless extremes. The agility of her acting, the way she can reverse course while making it seem like she’s simply following the logic of her character, is a marvel. Her performance in Hnath’s smart play is one of the headier pleasures of this Broadway season."

Happy to see the reviewa strong so far. And thank you to Jeffrey for giving us a rating. I know you've gotten flak and just want to say that I see you and I thank you.
Here's hoping for a rave from Brantley and a well-deserved Tony for Metcalfe.

I still think it will be Metcalf vs Linney, and don't know for which one I'll be rooting for lol
Yes, Jeffrey, thank you for taking the time to compile these.
