Oh chillax BBBoy. If you didn't know the lady's sister's dog's cousin's uncles friend's friend who got ran over by a buy on Broadway would you even care? No. I thought it was funny. Not the incident, of course, but the analogy.
Who are you? The mayor of comedy?

Back from the show. Going in with extremely low expectations was a wise move, because I didn't mind it all that much! It wasn't good or anything, but I laughed a few times and thought bits of it were entertaining. The audience seemed very enthusiastic. In fact, during the overture, my friend and I kept looking around and were convinced we were missing something because everyone else was laughing and we didn't really see what was all that funny.
Someone here mentioned a second act, but tonight it was only one act (about 90 minutes).

Honey, at the prices folks are paying today, I would expect to laugh more than a few times.
BBBoy is an attention seeker and pathetic.

WOW! The show was 2 hours long last night with the 15 minute intermission, so they cut 15 minutes of material between last night and tonight.
Interesting.

I was a the show tonight as well, and went in with low expectations and I really enjoyed myself. Definitely will get better as the show progresses. The audience had a good time. I loved Dame Edna and I quite enjoyed the medley they did together. It was a very entertaining evening. At times the show drags a little at the beginning when the "feud" begins, but overall it is brisk and clean.

Yikes people. It is a bit early to write reviews. So Dame Edna should throw a large basket of gladiolas at you.
It is the second preview wait a bit and repeat.

I'm shocked they cut so much so quickly, not that there wasn't fat that needed trimming.
I wonder if the overture tonight was the entr'acte last night. If that was the case it was VERY funny, and one of the few non-Edna moments I really let loose and laughed.

Corine, did you really need to post three different messages within a minute? And people post reviews after previews all the time.
Are you actually Dame Edna?

Sorry about that. My computer sometimes posts multiple times and I could not delete it. I am sorry to say I am not Dame Edna but I am a fan for many years. I do have a very funny video on my site at a press event that you can check out. Dame Edna is a very funny possum and I adore her.
This video makes me want to see the show now:

I saw it the other night, and I think they realized very quickly that having an intermission would be detrimental......1/2 the audience wouldn't come back. While I LOVE Dame Edna, and most of her bits were funny, I have to agree that the Michael Fienstein bits were a bore, and I kinda dreaded when it was him alone on stage.
I also wanted more adlib and improv on Dame Edna's part. Those are always the best part, but there wasn't enough imo.

Posted: 2/26/10 at 3:23pmI'm sure that he's a very nice man, and he's a very good pianist, but is anyone really surprised Feinstein is a bore? I've always found him boring, one of the reasons I'm avoiding this.
