Yeah the fact that people were booing ALW before the letter was read tells you that this was more of a CHF friendly crowd. And I'm pretty done with all the faux outrage that this cast has been throwing ALW's way, with this latest being that he was calling the entire show when he was clearly saying the "costly mistake" was the timing with COVID"
His letter was poorly written and the words, "costly mistake" should have been left out. ALW could have said COVID added to the stress of doing a new musical and few would complain. On the other hand, money comes first with ALW. Also, it was an insult to the cast and crew that ALW didn't attend the final performance with giving the reason why. If he didn't want the audience to know, at least the reason could be shared with the cast and crew.
