YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this show will get nominated for many Tonys this year. One they will not be able to get into is best score, but hopefully they will win Best Musical.

Listening to this album like I did obsessively the year it came out, I never dreamed this would happen.
I can't wait to see this. I'm a big fan of Green Day. And it'll be fun to see another rock show in the home of my very first Broadway show: Tommy.
Also, PiraguaGuy, your photo scares me. In a good way.
CANNOT WAIT!!!!!! When can we buy tickets?

Great news! Finally, a breath of life into this dull and disappointing musical season.

I really, really want to see this, and I'm going to start planning my trip out now.
Is there any reason to wait for the official opening on this one? I've never been to a show during previews, but this seems like a decent one to see under previews.
YES!!!!
Can't.Wait.
Soooo excited!! This completely made my day!! I have such high hopes for this show! Hopefully it is as brilliant as the album.
I've been a Green Day fan since 1994. That's nearly 2 decades, PlayEsq.
Not all of us are OLD enough to consider COME FLY WITH ME their generation's music, like you can.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Early favorite for the Tony?? I think so.
Thank God! Finally! Now I just need to figure out how to get there.
Remember way back when, when I said that Michael Mayer wanted the St. James for American Idiot and no one believed me? Well, here it is!
VERY much looking forward to this!

Well, this is the first time in ages when a new musical is playing at the St. James Theatre. The theatre's last four shows "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Gypsy,"
"Desire Under the Elms," and "Finian's Rainbow" have all played on Broadway before.
Cool. Hopefully they do some much-needed fixing up, prior to their Broadway run! xoxo
The Producers back in 2001 was the last time a new musical played in the St. James.
I haven't been this excited for a show in years. I. CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!
