The first-ever copies have arrived of the NEW 2012 BROADWAY CAST RECORDING of the Tony-nominated Annie The Musical from Shout Broadway, produced by 12-time Grammy winner Thomas Zachary Shepard.
CD's will be on-sale at the Palace Theatre TOMORROW May 7 and can be pre-ordered now on Amazon.com.
The Album includes "Little Girls" and 2 other BONUS TRACKS by Glee star JANE LYNCH, and 22 wonderful tracks performed by the amazing cast including Lilla Crawford, Katie Finneran, Anthony Warlow, Brynn O'Malley and the entire company. The songs of Charles Strouse & Martin Charnin have never sounded better, if we do say so.
Pretty fantastic and a new timeless classic.

That's why the price is still erroneously $21.07 instead of $18.95 before discount. But when you order, they will assure the discounted price anyway.

The actual theater "doors" open at half hour before show time..but there are the outer doors which open maybe 15-20 minutes earlier than that...which leads to an outer lobby and that's where they sell the Annie merchandise.
They also have a donation drop for children's books and pj's in that same lobby area that provides for real orphans in the NYC.

Thanks guys! What about during the show? I won't be around when they open but I might be during the show and possibly after? Do they sell Merch then?
Or tell me this... What time does intermission happen tomorrow??

Intermission is about 1 1/2 hours into the show - approx. And yes they sell at intermission and at the end (2 1/2 hour show).

Posted: 5/8/13 at 5:46pmI went after work but I was late and missed the Annie store by 2 minutes. Will try again tomorrow. But you can actually hear it in front of the theater as they have been playing the original cast recording all day every day since October but just changed to the current cast recording a few weeks ago.

I know..I just got there AFTER the night show when they are still selling merchandise as the audience leaves but I was a few minutes late and they had just closed up. I am in the area fairly often though so I will get it soon.

Posted: 5/9/13 at 11:30pmAm I the only one that is extremely disappointed with the cuts they made in "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile"?? I love the orchestrations in the middle of the girls part and they cut it all out! Anyone else notice?

^Add that to the list of reasons why I don't need another recording of Annie.
Plus the 30th Anniversary recording pretty much had everything you could ever want except that song that they added for Nell Carter in the last revival.
