How do you know people's mailing adresses to send them letters or get autographs and stuff?

You can usually send it to the stage door of the theatre if they are on Broadway. If not, this is a good site:

Thanks.
Of all my autographs, the one I treasure most is Arthur Miller's autograph. He autographed my program at a preview performance (in Chicago) of his last play "Finishing The Picture".

If they have a web site most people will have contact info on it.
you can also get the address of the theatre and send it to the actor there.
From THE WEDDING SINGER (names that I can remember/make out on the playbill):
Laura Benanti
Stephen Lynch
Felicia Finley
Christina Sivrich
Rita Gardner
Amy Spanger
Cara Cooper
Peter Kapetan
do you guys hand write your letter or type them up?
"do you guys hand write your letter or type them up?"
I hand write some of mine and type some, if your hand writing is not that good I would type, but if it is good I would write.
thanks jerseyboys!
I also have an autograph from Stephen Lynch from a few years back. Fell in love with his work, sent him an email, next thing i know he sent a card in the mail with his autograph! He rocks
Most of the actors on broadway are very good with there fans, I never though that I would get a e-mail back from JLY but he sent one back and he sent me an autographed picture.
i bought my envelopes today and will get the letter out by tomorrow. Here's hoping patrick gets it before the show closes. *crosses fingers*

It seems like all the questions previously asked on this thread are being asked again.
Anyways I addresed one of the letters I sent out and wrong accidently sent it to the theatre instead of the stage door, will it still get to the person or should I send it again?

I addresed it like this:
Actors Name
Theatre Name
City, state, etc...
They should get it, if you dont get it back for a while, just wait for a little while, I sent the three guys from jersye boys that I did not have autographed pictures of, pictures for them to autograph and I sent them like 4 week ago and I just got christians back, with a very sweet message..lol any way they should get it.
I forgot to add Kevin Cahoon to my list.
I met and had a discussion with Gregory Maguire. He signed my "Wicked" book. I consider him, because without his book "wicked" would not exist (this may or may not be a good thing)
Thats true.
