Of course not, don't even worry about crediting me its free info to the public and should be shared lol. But thanks for asking thats so nice, but so unnecessary lol. I would double check on the open to non-gcu students though because I got this info from a friend who goes there and thats what she said but she could be wrong. its probably correct, its a not that big of a school so it shouldn't be closed to other students, but she is sorta ditzy haha.
0h ps: on chloe's post she said the GCU event is in the student lounge and last i heard it was in the "casino building" which my friend said was the gym- is this the same thing?? so confusing... also there is a meet and greet as well!
You're right, the Casino Building and a Meet and Greet are listed now. I've updated my list on the previous page. Their site also says "free to all," which hopefully does mean what it sounds like!
yay! do you know if the meet and greet is before or after? its supossed to be from 9-11... although I haven't been able to call for reservations yet, has anyone made one?
Edit: Okay I just checked- he is performing then there is a meet and greet after... so excited!!!
I am planning on going probably, the only problem is that I go to school in nyc and would have to drive in very early the next morning... but i really want to see him
So, I'm not sure if any or all of you have seen this video that was posted on the Adam Pascal LiveJournal Community tonight by someone who found it on YouTube:
I never usually have fangirly moments, but this is one of them. *SQUEE!*
Check out the YouTube poster's profile too, she also has a three other videos from the the BU show, including a short vid of Adam singing "I'm With You."
I'm going to ask Sh-K-Boom what the policy is on posting concert footage, but if I'm allowed to, I'll post it on Adam-Pascal.com too. :)
oh thanks so much!! Oh I really want to go on Tuesday... see adam and skip class, or be a good girl and go to class and just think about adam all night?
I'm a former Graduate of GCU. There was a rather long article in our local paper about Adam's appearance there.
It is free, and you don't have to be a student to attend. Just email that you plan on attending. I'm actually shocked that he is appearing as it is a rather small campus, in a small town in New Jersey.
Well, just got back from Adam's St. Joseph College show in West Hartford! I'm not sure what the songs were that he did from his CD's, since I'm not familiar with them. If anyone wants to help me *cough* identify them, PM me. He did a song from Cabaret that I believe he sang on the Cold Case episode, and a song from West Side Story, and of course Glory. There was a signing afterward, but about three people before I got to the front of the line, he stood up and his bodyguard (i think?) said that he needed to go to his next venue. There were only about 10 people behind me, I really think he could've handled it, but oh well *sigh*. I got one picture of him from when he was sitting at the signing table, but it's not too flattering since he's sticking his tongue out. I can upload that if anyone wants to see it, lol.
I do have to say, though, that he's very charming in person.
10 minutes. It wasn't very long at all and I think he could've easily gotten to everyone in line. The auditorium itself was small, there weren't that many people to begin with. The picture will be up as soon as my sister uploads it to the computer from her camera.
It definitely was very intimate. I was told there were around 300 seats in the auditorium, and I looked around and it was pretty full, but not completely. And of course, not everyone stayed for the signing either. I was in the third row and felt _very_ close to the stage.
Oh yes, I hope it is! I wish I could go to that one too and have another chance at getting him to sign my booklet, but alas Hopefully he'll sign longer at that one.
LOL yeah it was probably his agent or manager, I don't know much about these things. PM'ed you, Siamese Dream.
EDIT: Okay, looks like I can't get the pic till tomorrow, and by then nobody will care because I'm sure there will be plenty of pics from the show tomorrow. Ah well :-p Updated On: 4/3/06 at 10:26 PM
ahh, this short meet & greet business is making me nervous. I'm very excited to get to go to the show and I realize how lucky I am that he's coming to this part of the county... but I really hope he stays long enough for me to meet him. **sigh**
** unrelated but I have to share: I'm watching an old Will and Grace episode guest starring Kevin Bacon and it was the first time I've literally laughed out loud that hard in a long time. You know the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon? Will said "You did a movie with Val Kilmer?" and Kevin said "no, but Val was in Top Gun with Tom Cruise and Tom was in A Few Good Men with me.... huh, that was a short one" I busted out laughing. Then got a little embarrassed to be sitting alone in my apartment laughing that hard. lol Then Will and Kevin started dancing to "Footloose"! Classic. I love when celebrities are willing to make fun of themselves.
Kevin is looking a little Adam Pascal-ish on this episode too, I might add. Though it could be the fact that I'm overly excited to see Adam's show on Monday.
Well, do you guys know if these past concerts were advertised w/ Meet and Greets? I'm not sure I remember seeing that--I dunno, a small part of me is hoping that tomorrow is different and it will be longer and...stuff.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
