For those of you who don't visit the site, each day they usually do a "Learn more about...(performer's name)" on the site's main page for an up and coming performer.

"They're singing, "Happy Birthday"
You just wanna lay down and cry
Not just another birthday, it's 30/90
Why can't you stay 29
Hell, you still feel like you're 22
Turn 30 in 1990
Bang! You're dead, what can you do?"

wow, "adam pascal, anthony rapp, tracie thoms and sarah silverman."
It's like Sesame Street...which one of these is unlike the other. Not to 'diss Sarah or anything, b/c she was great, but in the words of apdarcey...COME *ON*!!!
"Some of us have it worse, you know, Dana. Some of us are dating lesbian men. Okay? C'mon."
I don't know why IMDB is patting themselves on the backs for it. Anthony's headshot is out of date. And the reason none of the other principal actors are listed is because other than Taye and Rosario, none of the others have pictures.

knowing how
I think its great that they are up there. So many of people say aww Mark was so cute, and Roger was soo hot, and they can sing so well, but a lot of the people that have seen Rent know very little about the actors. As some of the public's "favorite" characters, people are going to be very interested in learning more about the two of them.
"But now the air is filled with confusion. We replace care with illusion."
I think Taye and Rosario have gotten their share of publicity. No such thing. I don't think Taye did any solo publicity at all (b/c of his play I'm assuming).
Actually, if you read that blurb, it sounds more like a hint/advertising to Idina, Wilson, and Jesse (and other actors, though it surprises me that Jesse doesn't have a pic), to submit pics rather than learning more about Adam. Oh well, he's still pretty.
"Some of us have it worse, you know, Dana. Some of us are dating lesbian men. Okay? C'mon."
He did do a lot of press for A Soldier's Play, but it even looked like the press for that was made to not only focus on him -- the entire cast was immensely talented, with more than one apparent "lead." Anyway, yeah, it kept him very busy.
I'm glad Adam got to do the interview yesterday; it was about time he got something that people would see, and that wasn't on at seven in the morning. He needed some publicity love.
I was speaking about publicity in general - Taye and Rosario are much better known, and as you pointed out, the blurb was partly about the importance of headshots in helping put a face to a name. Don't think they need that, and I don't think they'd appreciate being put in that category.
