Anyone have a current photo to post?
Here ya go Sally! You're welcome.
Mildred- You just made my day. Thank you.
Mine, too!
That's Anthony Rapp, how rude!
I want to start the "I feel bad for Adam Pascal" thread. This piece of s@#t musical is far below him, regardless of how old he reads on stage.
The RENT-Heads are gonna be so mad they have to sit through this piece of s@# musical. They better not start writing on the walls of Shubert Alley with a sharpie.
That said, this piece of s@#t musical is far below most Broadway performers. He must be desperate.

"He must be desperate."
His options would be what?
The Old Globe's ROCKY HORROR is always looking for replacements...
We have confirmation! http://www.broadway.com/shows/memphis/buzz/157521/hockadoo-rent-icon-adam-pascal-to-play-huey-calhoun-in-broadways-memphis/
It's not like he is being showered with offers for a Broadway show, this isn't the late 90s. The man can't act, he'll fit the show perfectly well.
And I agree that Jordan's first post on the thread should be enough of a reason for the site to institute a "like" button!
Anyone see the photo accompanying the Broadway.com announcement? I rest my previous case.
Isn't Huey supposed to be something like 20 years old? I mean he still lives with his mother. A man Adams age living at home with his mother just adds a new level of pathetic to this character.
I liked Memphis okay but really didn't like Chad Kimball's Huey. I usually enjoy Adam Pascal. I don't know if his casting will be enough to get me to see Memphis again, but that's more about the show than his age. With the right makeup and good lighting, I can suspend my disbelief about a performer's age versus the character's age.
It'll be lit by candlelight.
You guys are acting like Chad Kimball looks 20. They both look too old for the role, but if Adam can hit that high not at the end of "Memphis Live in Me" like Chad used to be able to do then I'm in.
Psyched. Regardless of all questionable items, trumped by my desire to hear him kill those notes. The rest? For this, whatever, critical eye to the wind. Far from a great show, but I had a lot of fun, and I think Adam will be adorable.
I applaud the producers decision to go with a talent (who I think might do very well) instead of some better known TV name just to sell tickets.
And kudos to Adam on landing another Broadway leading role.
