Everbody should check out Adam in concert. Until recently, I only saw him perform on Broadway. I went to his July 29 concert at the Brentwood Theater in LA and had a blast. His new material is awesome. And for you Broadway lovers, he did amazing renditions of Maybe This Time and What I Did for Love. Of course his first encore was also wonderful... One Song Glory. He also did a really funky version of Maria from Westside Story after professing he hated the musical.
"I wish the stage were as narrow as the wire of a tightrope dancer, so that no incompetent would dare step upon it." Goethe
OH MY GOD! I did not realize Adam was coming here on October 5. Emcee, I am eternally grateful for you bumping this thread. I HAVE to go to this. Anyone else in the Boston area planning on going?
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
When I called, the box office was closed. Anyone know if there are tickets left? I NEED TO GO!

I GOT TICKETS! I am going to the concert with my roommate! I am so so so excited! Anyone else in the Boston area want to meet up? There is also a Q&A session after which is very cool. Ah! I have wanted to see him in concert for so long!

I'm going tomorrow to the NKU show! I'm very excited. Called today and found out that it's first come, first serve. So hopefully the fact that we'll be there like, an hour early will help us sit close.
"Who says you can't bend over backwards and eat bugs if you want to? I guess the bugs would probably say you can't do that that, but assuming that they are willing and consenting bugs, then there's no problem. Let's wig out eating bugs."

I normally don't do the whole "bumping" thing, but looking at the BWW article announcing the San Francisco shows, I felt compelled to add that someone elsewhere posted that tickets are available by calling the venue right now. Apparently they were not going to sell tickets via phone or in person until later this month, but enough people called to change their policy. Avoiding Ticketmaster saves you a nasty internet fee, so go get your tickets now and tell us all about the show.
Also, there's a considerable number of tickets left for Adam's show at the Queens Theatre in the Park on October 14. These tickets are cheaper than tickets to the Long Island show on the 13th, so go snatch them up. I'm going to the show and want a good crowd! Look, I'm even providing you with a handy link (tickets are available through TDF as well):
