Not sure why this latest announcement says "opening date will be announced shortly". Telecharge lists the opening as April 20.

How big is Ripley's role? The Best Actress in a Musical category is potentially even more interesting...

Unless they've really beefed up the part from the London version this is very much a supporting role, although she does have one killer (pun intended) number. This is very much luxury casting. Cannot wait.

My N2N-head Facebook friends just flipped out all over my newsfeed. I think Ripley is a great talent, but sadly she's not enough to get me to a show based on a film I dislike, with subject matter that makes me uncomfortable, and a score by someone whose Tony-winning work didn't resonate for me...
I still wish them all the best!

Reading this has just made my day 1000 times better! First you've got Alice and Jennifer not only back on Broadway, but sharing a stage together and Helene Yorke in anything has got me! So excited!!
