Im gay and i don't really believe in bisexuals. I definitely think people are more attracted to one sex. If you think guys are sexy as hell, and think girls are a little bit hot, then you GAY!!!

Wow. That is so sad that even those who are often times at the heart of gay culture still can't accept that somebody is bisexual. That is shameful and you are just as much of a bigot as if you hated gay people and thought that they didn't exist.

While I have zero interest in this guy's career, I thought he appeared to be smart, charming and self aware. Seems like a good egg.

LOL no YOURE the bigot because you intolerant toward those holding different opinions. Isn't there a scale or something? Guys and girls are very different emotionally and physically. I feel like people are more compatible with one that the other. And this guy even said that he didn't want to make his ex girlfriends feel like that didn't mean anything to him. Idk it doesn't seem convincing to me. They were probably his bffs. and for the record, i know PLENTY of gays who feel the same way

lol what am i intolerant to? i accept everybody no matter what, but i still have the right to an opinion. I can't even tell you how many people i know who are bisexual to the world, but really tell us gays that they are really gay but don't want to let go of being straight either for whatever reason. Bisexuals alwaysssss just end up fully coming out. HorseTears, are you bisexual?

Is it so far out of your clammy grasp that your experience - be it your own sexual orientation or that of your friends' - is not representative of EVERY SINGLE G*D DAMNED MOTHER-F*CKING human being on this planet? "Well, I know I'm 100% gay and I have a couple of friends who were on the bi-now-gay-later plan, so therefor, bisexuals do not exist." Do you realize how stupid you sound? Is this how you're going to conduct yourself during your Taco Bell interview?

And, no, I'm not bi, but I certainly know plenty of bi guys and gals.

Yes, of course there's a scale. Not every bisexual is 50/50. No one claimed that. And, for many people, sexual orientation is fluid and continues to evolve throughout their lives. This doesn't invalidate these peoples experiences or identity in anyway simply because it doesn't subscribe to a narrow "either/or" box that some of us fit into.

I just know that the men bisexuals i know always lean more towards guys, and the bisexual girls lean more towards girls. And 9/10 times they just end up being fully gay or lesbian. They prefer one more than the other, making them lesbian or gay. Thats just my opinion, but you guys can think whatever you want to think i don't control the universe lol

I think bisexuality does indeed exist. The Kinsey scale also suggests there is such a thing. There are some very famous out bisexual Hollywood actors and actresses who are in heterosexual marriages. (Megan Fox is, Marlon Brando was, Megan Mullaly, Anna Paquin, Drew Barrymore, our own Raul Esparza is as well).

I'm sure your study of men and women who self-identify as bisexual is extremely thorough. Can't wait to see the peer-reviewed reports.

The last thing the queer community needs is gay men saying that bisexuality is something they "don't believe in" - as if it was something superstitious.

But, hey! It's not like gay men ever had to be told their sexual orientation was something that didn't have to believed in, right?

Well, if not believing in something were all it took to make that thing not exist, then why can't i say this and have it magically come true:

As others have pointed out, you seem to be mis-understanding what bi-sexual means. It doesn't imply that levels of attraction are necessarily equal to different genders, although they can be for some people. But you are probably young enough not to have met many people with equal attraction to men and women or pan-sexuals who can experience attraction to men, women, or non-binary-gendered people, or asexuals, who don't experience sexual attraction towards anyone, or demi-sexuals, who don't find anyone sexually atractive unless they already have a strong emotional bond towards them, etc. etc. Give yourself time to meet a lot more people in the world before declaring your opinions about who you think can or can't exist - you will make yourself sound less bigoted to those you meet, and will therefore give yourself a better chance of meeting more people and eventually knowing their real orientations who might otherwise avoid coming out to you if they heard you spouting an ignorant opinion out loud before that point.

So, you say that 9/10 of the people who label themselves as bisexuals end up being fully gay or lesbian. Even if this was true (and whatever your definition of “end up” is), there is still that 1/10 that, you admit, don’t. So, how can you say that no one is bisexual and people who label themselves as bi “always” end up fully on one end of the scale, just because (in your mind) the majority do? That’s the same thing as saying that, if 9 out of 10 people are straight, being gay is not “real.”

what are you talking about Kad? Do you people not understand the idea of an opinion. From my experiences with people in college, i say its a phase. Thats my opinion. You are entitles to your opinion. If your opinion is not mine that is fine, but nobody is going to tell me what i can or cannot say. I have been 100% with the way i feel about things. You don't see me telling people that they cannot have their opinions about things do you? If you don't like what i say, then stop entertaining it!!!!! AND it still is very true that 9/10 people who say that they are bisexual end up becoming fully gay or lesbian. You guys can't say anything about that soooo
