Did anyone get CENTER orchestra? I've yet to hear anyone say they had center FRONT orchestra seats.

Also--they gave out tickets in a very weird way... "Our best seats we have available are.... (insert seats)" is what they told me. I think somebody was lyyyyyiiiinnng...

It was weird now that I'm hearing different things about ticket distribution. I got there at 7:30, and I was 74th in line. I ended up with row R seat 118. I'm not going to complain though because I could have gotten nothing.

Parks-I was told the exact same thing.

The fact that they did the "best seat available" thing leads me to believe that they were NOT selling the entire house, and just why the line was so painfully slow.

If they truly were giving away the entire house, they would have just pre-printed the tickets and handed them out as people came to claim them.

I'm perfectly happy with my Orchestra row C left side seats after waiting for 7+ hours. But, I would have been happy with the last row mezz for that price as well. I'm just glad I'll be there to witness history - the first preview of the first revival of BYE BYE BIRDIE!

Since I found out that they were supposedly giving out the entire theater, I would have assumed the same thing. It would have been much easier and faster that way. I fortunately got out of there at 12:45.

I know the line was not an issue at all, but it just bothered me a bit how people in my area kept walking off for a moment and coming back. They left their stuff, but it's just the point. And yes, I did have a mother and the sisters of one of the kids in the cast near me, and they were the worst offenders with leaving the line and walking around.

And I found myself in that youtube video. Haha! it's at 51 seconds. I'm the girl in the black shirt, sitting on the ledge to the restaurant patio. Thank goodness I was not doing anything completely stupid because I missed that one. But, I did see other cameras pointing to me.

I work at a touring theatre box office and I may have an explanation of how the seat selection works.

When a customer asks for seats, we gather up a couple different sets of seats that are the best available. We put them in our "cart" so another worker cannot snag them from us. Once the customer makes a selection, we release the others to become available again.

That's how sometimes the 4th customer gets 2nd row seats, while the 2nd customer 6th row. It's all about the timing if there are several people working in the office at the same time.

I don't know if what I typed made sense to anyone. And I don't know if there was more than one window open at this particular event. But that's how it could happen where I work.

Got there at 6. Was 22nd in line (meaning the man between adamgreer and I was the opening night tix winner). Got row B, seats 1 and 3. I'm extremely happy that I got seats so close to the stage and almost center. However, I'm completely baffled as to why people who got there after me got technically better seats. That annoys me a little bit. But, like WithoutATrace said, I have great seats to the first preview of the first ever revival of BYE BYE BIRDIE :)

Exactly how tight were Funk's pants in person? Because they're not leaving a lot of the imagination!

Going on what singinmysong13 said, was this first preview definitely on sale only at the box office? Because I could imagine online subscribers (or non-subscribers) might have been offering and/or releasing seats on Telecharge and kept people from getting seats in the order of the line.

Usually for the first four previews of Roundabout shows, to get the $10 discount, you go to Roundabout's website. That doesn't work with this show because the tickets are being offered through telecharge instead. The access10 code does not work on broadwayoffers.com. If it did, I would be pissed for getting up at 4am to travel to get there at 7:30, to be able to get them online.

I'm just hoping I don't have to sit near the annoying stage mom and her family. I felt really sorry for Nolan Gerard Funke when the girls were bragging to him that their brother was in the cast. Of course, he wasn't rude to them, but it would be funny if he didn't know the kid they were talking about very well.

While I'm happy for Brynn, I am curious as to what happened with Molly Ephraim.
