Not to go entirely too off topic but does anyone know how this rush compares to the chaos that was the Darren Criss How to Succeed line?
I just feel like in the dead of winter when his run was happening a line monitor would have been really helpful. Thankfully I had checked around before I went so I could be sure to get tickets but there were tons of people in line behind me who had no chance but still waited in 10 degree for hours.

I have always found that If I need to leave the line for a potty break or whatever, I tell not only the people next to me on line but also the monitor if he/she is there also. That way it is less likely to have a problem when I return.
Also, to the person who asked, it seems like they are very stringent at Matilda about the 30 day rule policy for those who already won the lottery. The day I was there recently (and lost), after they picked the winners, they said if we others wanted to, we could wait a few more minutes as they would check the ID's of the winners and also check the list...which I assumed was the 30 day list. They would pull more names if any of the winners were eliminated..which they said DOES happen. It did not the day I was there.

I just got an image in my head of those in queue saying to the line monitor, in Cool Hand Luke fashion, "Goin' potty, boss!" and a rifle-toting man in mirrored sunglasses silently nods his approval.

Posted: 7/3/13 at 12:08pmThat's good news. Another out of control rush, Next to Normal, did the same.

That wasn't an invitation. I know that's reserved for Big Poppa anyway.
Just wanted to make sure you knew you were wrong about them never switching from rush to a lottery.

Posted: 7/3/13 at 7:55pmI never said they wouldn't I just wondered why they would. Also it is a good thing. Their line was ripe with scalpers. now it is fair. So get over yourself please. I thought you could go a whole week with out using those silly gifs to get your point across in a reasonable adult way. I guess I was wrong again. have a great night.
