She's not too reliable. I was supposed to see her at Jazzfest in New Orleans in April and see canceled on them at the last minute and I was told she didn't show the year before as well..
(But Earth Wind And Fire replaced and they were great).

really?? she's known to cancel concerts, or start them very late. What, would she only do 2 shows a week??
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

She should totally be Lilias White's understudy! Then they could advertise as "Aretha Franklin in 'Fela!'" Then when people wonder where she is, the ushers can direct them to the fine print on the poster that says "As an understudy." That way, they wouldn't be lying, and she would only have to do like one show every once in a while, or something like that. My mind goes crazy when I start writing these things. Don't Judge.
