That commentary can easily come from family and friends."
Once again. Insulting the intelligence of everyone who sees in plain view that something isn’t right. She may be sick, who knows but to say something isn’t wrong flies in the face of reality and this old song and dance shaming people for expressing concern for an artist they care about is so tired and out of touch.

I was not insulting anyone (let along ... "once again"), but reacting to the comment suggesting fans must speak out as if it is a moral obligation, that Grande needs them to do so or, that celebrities welcome such attention.

Nowhere did I say it was anyone's moral obligation to say a word about it, I said "once again" the collective intelligence of those that DO express their concerns is being insulted by those wagging their proverbial finger under the guise of body shaming. Like you. Hope this clears it up for you.

If there were a "collective intelligence" in play, there should also be an understanding of how hopelessly ineffective that collective is in regards to having any ability to change the situation - IF it needs to be changed.
Grande has expressed (repeatedly) how hurtful the collective's comments are. If there truly is a "collective intelligence", are they really "intelligent" if they don't demonstrate any understanding of how they make the situation worse with their gossip?
"Intelligent" people know when to stand back and let professionals provide any healing, if healing is required.
Do you stand outside doctor's offices and gossip with your "collective" about patients who are entering the facility? "Oooh... They look in really bad shape!" It's the same thing.
