Ben Platt referred to the set as his "spaceship living room."

I just scored a $20 all in Orchestra seat to his show tomorrow night in the Sony Center in Toronto. Any other Toronto people, thanks to National Concert Week, lots of $20 tickets left.

Not even other Broadway leads like Darren Criss, Kristin Chenoweth, Bernadette Peters, nor Idina Menzel pick venues THAT big to tour. Good luck. The venue shocked me, not going to lie. I hope his first tour goes great. He is very talented."
This comment stuck with me since the day I read it. I am going to allow myself to be SUPER petty and invite you to have a look at how many seats are left for the Dolby Theatre.
Side note: I saw the show in Philly on Sunday and last night in NYC. It was great, and I am excited that the success of his shows has led him to be able to book Radio City. Sadly I can't go, but I encourage anyone who has any interest in getting a seat to go. It was a great night out.

NY was the only one I am aware of. But who knows, he may do more!

FYI, they've released a bunch of seats on Ticketmaster for Sunday's Radio City show.

Ben Platt - ran over to Radio City Music Hall after Sea Wall/A Life matinee as I need to be there as soon as possible for the meet and greet that I got as part of my VIP ticket. When I got there, I found out that Ben was running behind and instead of him coming out at 5:15, he came out around six or so. Due to vocal rest he only did two quick Q&A‘s then we were rushed through pics with him. I’m not complaining. Glad I’ll have a pic with him. It was still a good experience, but I don’t feel the desire to ever need to do that again. Our VIP gifts were a stocking cap and a signed poster as well as our VIP lanyard and a VIP ticket. I also bought a concert shirt since I figured he wouldn’t really want me wearing a Madonna tee in our pic. Lol.
As far as the concert, he put on a hell of a great show! Looking forward to seeing the Netflix special. Great audience. Beanie came out and spoke to the audience a few minutes before he performed.
Oh Em Gee. I almost buried the lead. Judith light was in the audience and when I was coming down the aisle to my seat (I was front row Orchestra to right behind the PIT seats) she was standing up at her seat and we made eye contact and I smiled and she smiled back. Andrew Barth Feldman was also in attendance and I guess people were lining up to get a pic with him. He was gracious l, reportedly, but I’m sure he’d like to be able to enjoy a night out.

I did the Derek and Julianne Hough meet and greet at Radio City two years ago and we also got rushed through it and I can’t be bothered doing any more of those. So happy for you that you got a pic with Ben, though.

My friends did the VIP meet and greet at Radio City and told me it was supposed to be done after the concert but the whole Netflix filming situation complicated the schedule and they had to move the meet and greet before the show.
They felt it was too rushed as well and had a better time doing the VIP meet and greet in LA and SF where it was done after the show with an intimate Q&A and a photo session where it was more laid back.
I didn't do the VIP but had a seat in the orchestra section and loved the show! I saw Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow in the audience sitting a few rows from me.
I'm glad they filmed it professionally so i can always watch it and relive the moment.

It lasted about an hour and a half (even though it started 45 minutes after the scheduled start time) and I sensed how humbled he was to be up there yet he was having so much fun and showed so much confidence on stage. A lot of celebrities were in attendance (Michael Park, a bunch of actors from The Politician, Andrew Barth Feldman, Beanie Feldstein, Anna Kendrick, Billy Eichner) and it was nice to see him get a lot of support from former cast members. Can’t wait to see what he does next!

What time did it end? I know he is religious and last night Rosh Hashana began at Sundown.

I was really surprised he scheduled this on Rosh Hashanah. He talks about his Judaism a lot and I recall him even saying that if he wasn’t a performer, he’d like to be a cantor. Maybe Radio City/Netflix only offered one date, but still surprised.

I was surprised he performed last night as well. Rosh Hashanah is the reason I didn't buy a ticket last night. However, I did get to see him perform 3 songs at the US Open on opening night last month so that was awesome. Looking forward to watching the full concert on Netflix.

Why let people live in your head rent-free for this long and then bring them to the concert with you?

The showtime was 7:30 but he didn't go on until about 8:15 and then the show ended at approximately 9:45!
