I like that she got 3 broadway actors (Tommy, Will Taylor and Jody Reynard) but eh, Jody has been underwhelming in the tracks in LB that I have seen him in. Tommy Berklund and Will on the other hand are great.
She's the best, there is no other like her. I can't wait to watch her show every week, she brings such joy!

I just can't believe that after her recent infamy with The View (which she references in the bit, which I love!) they would give her a LIVE show. Don't get me wrong, I have always had a soft spot for Rosie. Loved her kush-ball throwing ways back in the day (was that what it was? it has been a while.) with what was one of the best "talk shows" to air. Loved her as Golly in Harriet the Spy. But really - a live show?! I don't know whether to do backflips or be slightly apprehensive, though I do note she says she won't talk about politics this time. Regardless I already added it to my DVR since TV hasn't been the same since Rosie left.
This future of this show will be decided by the opening monologue, imho. If it's laced with Sarah Palin/Bush jokes, or really a lot of political comment of any kind, it will not last. If the "queen of nice" Rosie shows up, it may have a chance.
It makes no difference if she doesn't "talk policitics" on her new show. Most people already think she is a wack job. Don't think for a moment she is going to edit herself on her private blog. She will continue to talk crap about people. Snippets will end up on all the talk/news shows. Her negative reputation won't go away. I think the real Rosie has been revealed. I would be really surprised if this show lasted past one season. I think it's really sad because I though she was great when she had her own show. Here's to be proven wrong.
