While we're waiting...

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips

Cream butter, sugars, vanilla and egg. Use a spoon - not a mixer! Then add dry ingredients, then nuts and chocolate chips. Spread on an 8 or 9-inch round greased pizza pan.

Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 10 minutes.

It depends on two things:

1. Whether you are a fan of the show
2. Whether you find out its closing before or after it's ready.


If the answer is yes and after then I would think it serves one.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

No tix have ever been for sale past Sept 4. That was the original calander date. Probably to see how well the show would do and sell. Alot easier to open up a new block of tix than deal with refunds for future sales. Having said that, the show is heavily comped, even its opening night, always has been for the evening performances. And it has only sold 42.6% of the gross this past week.

I take back my earlier defense of the OP. Geez.

I think most of us could read the signs as far back as May and are hardly surprised by the news. I never in a million years expected it to extend. But for the OP just state it as fact weeks before anything is official, without any inside information to back it up, is just rude.

I think most people are surprised it lasted this long. I thought it would be one of the first shows to close post-Tony nomination announcement.
