Coming to the city at the end of the month and my boyfriend is really interested in seeing Beautiful. It's pretty much between me buying The Visit tickets on TDF or rushing Beautiful. Has anyone done it lately? I'd be doing it for a Wednesday evening show. How have the seats been?

You should get tickets via TDF. Beautiful does not hold tickets for rush. If they are sold out (they often are) there is no rush.
I did a search for you:

Keep in mind, even if they do sell out, they will sell standing room.

The OP asked how the seats have been, so I figured he didn't want standing room.
Yeah, I'm aware about them offering SRO but my boyfriend has MS, so he is not able to stand in one spot for a prolonged period of time. I did notice it's been on TKTS the past few weeks, so I figured they'd be selling rush, so I was just curious if anybody has tried it lately. Thanks guys! :)
Beautiful gives $40 seats out, but get there early. I rushed the show and they gave out a lot actually. Probably because it was in January.

I rushed about a month ago, when Jessie was at the end of her run. Showed up at 9:55 and easily got 2 tickets for the matinee.
I went to Jessie's final Wednesday evening performance, got there just before 10, was about 35th in line and got tickets. I would still advise to buy the TDF tickets for The Visit. Beautiful will likely be around a lot longer, plus Jessie is no longer in the show.
Bump...
Anyone rushed lately? I'm thinking about going tomorrow.

My experience may not be representative, as I rushed over 4th of July weekend (which is typically slow), but I easily got two rush tickets about two hours after the box office opened. Seats were located in the mid-mezz.
I was very lucky on a random Wednesday night the beginning of June. I showed up around 5-5:30 and asked if they had anything. The guy said he would check and gave me a seat at the rush price. They did have a lot of rear mezz available that night, but I think he was being extra nice for giving me a ticket that late so I'm really grateful. I was a very happy girl.
I don't think so.
So has anyone been successful getting rush for a Saturday matinee? What time would be good to get there?

I'd like to know about Sat also. If Sat is available can you purchase Rush tickets for either the Matinee or Evening show when the box office opens?

I got rush tickets this morning (Wednesday, 11/25). Around 9:15 there were about 7 people in line. By 10am there were probably 20 people total. We got 3 tickets in the back of the center mezzanine for the evening show. The show definitely wasn't sold out online so it seemed like they had plenty of tickets.
