Best Advice You Ever Got From A Broadway Show

I've been thinking a lot lately about the lessons and themes from the many shows I've seen, and I happened to remember this little nugget from "Harvey" that's stuck with me for quite some time.

"In this world, you can be oh-so-smart or oh-so-pleasant. For years I was smart, I prefer pleasant."

Are there any lines or lyrics from shows that have stuck with you guys that has served as great life advice?

- If People don't like you then paint your face green and tell them you can fly. They won't like you but you will appear better than them.

- If you love someone, then quit your job and get on a boat. Once on the boat, Proceed to the top of the boat and Yell your face off for about 3 minutes. Who cares if you are bothering the other passengers, It's really the only way to travel in style.

- If you are looking for revenge then the best possible answer is to murder people and bake them into cakes and pies.

- If you are in a love triangle with a nice wholesome handsome guy and a disfigured sociopath, then always choose the sociopath because he will let you dress up in pretty costumes and sing all day. That's the American dream right?

- If you are a teenage girl living in 18th century France and have a crush on a boy, then make sure he is the type of boy that won't forget about you 30 seconds after you die for him.

- If you are traveling through a forest looking for the holy grail then make sure you are traveling with Jews, A diva, Homosexuals and a guy who isn't afraid to have his kneecaps split and his body burned And his limbs all hacked and mangled,His head smashed in and his heart cut out And his liver removed and his bowels unplugged And his nostrils raped and his bottom burned off And his penis split.

- The only way one can change the world is if you are a singing and dancing chubby teenager who has has a drag queen for a mom.

- If you really want to be with the cool guy in high school then change everything about yourself and start dressing like a dominatrix and eventually he will take you for a ride in his flying car.
