This giant media gang-bang is roughly held between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and I've attended my share of them in the past. It used to be more casual, and you could walk up to nominees and chat. Now, I hear it's much more formalized and set up like a press conference, where various outlets get to ask a single question. Zzzzzzzzz.
Random tangent, in light of the Tony's are there certain days you would avoid seeing a show because the performers might be a little tired from doing press, or alternately, certain days when you would expect more energy from the performers or the audience (e.g. right after a win)?
