Kate Baldwin, Bobby Steggert, and Katie Thompson are all reuniting from GIANT for BIG FISH. Hilarious. All three are very well cast in their roles, as is the lovely Krystal Joy Brown.

Excited for this.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

congrats! I'd imagine the Simon will sit dark until this starts in Septmeber unless something with a short engagement takes the theater until then.

They also have a stacked ensemble! Looks like Stroman got her dancers. Excited for this.

"Ironic that Norbert begins previews for his new show the day after the anniversary that Catch Me If you Can Closed in 2012."

How exactly is that ironic?

Ironic in an Alanis Morisette way. In other words, not ironic at all.

And didn't CMIYC close in 2011?

Nothing ironic about it. Literally.

Wow, I never would have guessed that the name of a wine would get censored. But considering the way this site links people's names within articles (where it will hyperlink just a part of somebody's name because it matches with another person) I shouldn't be too surprised.

I think we discovered when discussing Kathie Lee that BWW blocks the "hArdon" in ChaRdonay. Still makes me laugh.

Anyway, this is exciting. I hope the show lives up to the source material and the talented people involved in bringing it to the stage manage to pull it off! Updated On: 1/15/13 at 01:20 AM

Any more word on who's playing The Witch in the show? Katie Thompson has apparently left the production

Is Big Fish closing for Christmas week. I'm over from London, that week. Tickets don't seem to be available.

So, if everyone's going to attack someone for misusing ironic, can we also please work on spelling "definitely" correctly. It seems to be the most misspelled word on these boards.

I hope the show has been massively overhauled since the Chicago tryout. It was the most incomprehensible mess I'd seen since Thou Shalt Not.

I saw it in Chicago on Tuesday the second to last week it was there. Some of the actors said at stage door that they had reblocked most of the show and added and removed multiple songs in rehearsals that morning and the day before. We thought it was pretty great, and much better than people had said it was before those changes were made.
