If anyone has videos or TV interviews on VHS they would like to share...
STEP 1: Convert to Digital
Creating a digital version of the video on your computer is the stumbling block for most people. You generally need special hardware like Dazzle or WinTV so you can connect your VCR and computer. I use a Sony Camcorder connected by Firewire. If you know someone with a DVD recorder, that will work too.
STEP 2: Edit Video
Editing the video to remove commercials and to save it in a mpg format is usually quite simple. I recommend the free and easy-to-use Microsoft MovieMaker. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/default.mspx
STEP 2: Share with Others
Once the video has been created, there are a number of free sites where you can share them:
http://www.ultrashare.net
My 1st choice. Up to 30 mb per file. Not pretty, but works well and fast.
http://www.savefile.com/
My 2nd choice. Up to 60 MB per file, but it sometimes says "server is full" and won't let you post.
http://www.putfile.com
My 3rd choice. Up to 10 mb per file, or your own mini-site up to 25 mb Very easy to upload, it features streaming video, and viewers can adjust the size of the window (no full screen). With the right code, viewers can download files. Files are deleted after time.
http://sendspace.com
My 4th choice. Up to 1200 mb (1.2 gigs), but I find it is extremely slow to upload and it places limits on how many times it can be downloaded..
http://www.zupload.com/
My 5th choice. Up to 500 mb with unlimited downloads. It's a little slow and don't like how it sometimes crashes abd doesn't give you a filename on the download page.
http://www.spread-it.com
My 6th choice. Up to 500 mb, but deleted after 14 days.
Looking forward to seeing more videos.

Merci accord!
I think I will need this. I want to upload a video sometime.
Thanks for all these links that you've been putting up on this site recently Accord, especially with regards to the audio and visual footage of Billy Elliot
Not long to go now until December 3rd then! What a day this is going to be.
Is everyone still meeting up before the show? Whose also going on Monday December 5th to see the new cast?
Has anyone got any more photos to share with us?
Is there any news on which actors will be taking on the key roles on 5th December?
I have been thinking for a while that there are 4 billys and only 3 Michaels. I dont think this is fair as the Billys only have to do 2 shows a week each but one Michael has to do 3 shows! Does anyone else agree?
Not really. Can you imagine how much harder, physically, the Billy role is against the Michael role?
Yh i know wat u mean but it still really isnt completly fair!
Also, in an emergency it is possible for one of the Billys to play Michael. It isn't possible for one of the Michaels to play Billy.
