Do you know if Miss Patti comes out after matinees, too? Or just evening shows?
Thanks!
According to this Vulture profile, she comes out between shows. It's a fun read, BTW. And they even cover the Aretha Franklin shade incident. Spoiler: Patti's praying for Aretha.

Thanks, Horse! I might wind up at tomorrow's matinee.
It wasn't on tkts tonight. Ended up at Rocky which I really enjoyed.
Dame, how was the crowd at Rocky?
It was a great audience . They were on fire. There was a whole bunch of Marines. The guy Obama gave the medal to last week; William Kyle Carpenter; was in the audience and they brought him up to the ring after the curtain call. The rear sides of the orchestra and mezzanine had about 2 or 3 empty rows. I was in row E on the center side aisle and I got my ticket at 630 at the booth.
BTW. : the guys from on the town were shooting something at the booth. That Tony Yazbeck is a hottie. Not overly friendly to this queen ... But a hottie.
They were shooting a music video all day long all over the city. Maybe he was tired.
Probably PJ. I'm not reading anything into it. Just how he was at the moment. He could sit on my lap and I will give him a spanking.

Yazbeck is a very straight and very devout Christian - though he does seem to be gay friendly.
I met Tony after seeing him in Chicago- could not have been sweeter and we actually talked for a couple minutes. Really nice guy and super talented- And i am as Gay as they come! LOL
@ DAME- What did he do?

I have a standing offer to kneel and pray with Tony any time he'd like.
Nothing really. It's what he didn't do. LOL. Seriously I just said I was a fan and that I was looking forward to On The Town. He seemed slightly annoyed and it wasn't exactly a roll of the eyes but he obviously at the moment was not receptive. I am sure he is a very nice guy.
Were you fully clothed at the time?
Yes. And I looked FIERCE!

Got to meet Miss Patti today! She was very sick and had hardly any voice, but went on stage anyway and struggled through her songs. A shame to see her like that, as Lord knows, that voice is ASTONISHING. But she was so determined to support the show and make her fans happy, that she trucked through.
She came out afterwards and signed, also giving out little signed photos of herself. No pictures, but I don't think anyone really wanted to ask since she was clearly not feeling well. She is a class act.
And for those wondering, YES! She remembered me the second we started chatting. I can't wait for her next concert. Man, those pipes....
I was there today too, and wow, what an incredible show. The talent, the dancing, the beautiful costumes, the band. I can't believe this is closing, it's such a shame. This is an incredibly entertaining, dynamic show.
I don't know much about Patti, so when she opened her mouth, and hardly anything came out, I just thought she had a low, quiet voice. But, then she killed it at the end of her first song. Right after "Stormy Weather", she mouthed to the audience "I'm sorry" and threw up her hands. I thought it was great she still showed up, because judging by the audience, she had tons of fans. She has the most sparking, platinum white teeth I have ever seen, and she looked gorgeous in her dress.
Incredible show, see it why you can!!
