take my money, all of my money.
This one-night-only event will star Kelli O’Hara and Steven Pasquale and feature an expanded 20-piece orchestra conducted by Jason Robert Brown, featuring Orchestrations by Brown. The Bridges of Madison County features a book by Marsha Norman, music & lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, and is based on the novel by Robert James Waller. Original Broadway director Bartlett Sher returns to direct the concert, which will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 7PM at the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. The concert will be followed by a gala celebration at 9PM.
Tickets go on sale Oct 3rd

Interesting that the only original cast member not mentioned here is Hunter Foster, who's presumably off directing something in December given how busy he seems to be. Wonder who will be playing Bud? Foster's performance in the original production was fine but not exactly striking.
To hear O'Hara and Pasquale soar through their songs in this again live is an unmissable opportunity, even though the rest of the show is almost entirely superfluous. I've only been to Broadway once in my life (shameful!), in Easter 2014, and while from that trip I'd say Gentleman's Guide was the best overall production I saw, Bridges was the reason I booked the trip, and there were moments of musical magic in that theatre that night.
I'm going to listen to One Second And A Million Miles right now, in fact.

I know he'll be kinda busy then but ... can we get Brian D'arcy James please?

Assuming Hunter Foster isn't attending, as the previous poster pointed out.
Oh for Bud? That's such a thankless role, I would hate to see such a talent like Brian wasted like that.

It's a one-night only concert lol. And he's in a show at the same time, so I imagine he wouldn't want a big role.
I audibly gasped. I cannot wait for this. Hoping I’ll be able to get tickets during the general sale this Friday.
Yeah, this score and those voices were so incredible to hear live 10 years ago. It's such a shame it failed, but people have come to appreciate it over the years which is definitely a bright spot. This will be a hot ticket considering Steven has one of the best voices of all time, yet rarely performs more than a few weeks at a time in musicals.

I really hoped for the best for this show, having followed it from Williamstown, but it never materialized into a great musical.
Cannot wait! I just loved this show so much. I remember going up the Barnes & Noble on E.86th Street to hear the cast perform after seeing the show twice. The store was packed and there were no seats or room left in the performance space. We just stood in an aisle of books and could hear the voices. Felt like heaven. I was so glad that I went.
The Axelrod and Bucks County productions were sublime as well. I hope Barrington does it soon. I’d see it anywhere.

Sure I’m looking forward to their big duets, but Almost Real will remain one of the absolute highlights of this show. Just such an incredible piece of storytelling and character development in that 5 minutes.

a 20-piece orchestration of this score is going to hit like crack.

I just subscribed last-minute yesterday. Do other subscribers already have an email with a code?? I haven't gotten anything and I'm nervous it won't email me, even though they assured me the system would.

I’ve been a subscriber for ages and got an email notice about the event, but have not received the pre-sale code yet.

I don’t know why they would treat us this way. It is very stressful. I broke down and just went ahead and bought Gala tickets.

I was worried that my name just didn't make it onto the list to be emailed somehow since I subscribed so late but now I see that it's just that they screwed it up for everyone!
Subscribers, have you been able to purchase tickets yet?
And, if so, can you confirm the prices the Melissa25 posted above are correct (not doubting they are, just wanting to confirm now that the tickets are on sale)?
