John Gallagher Jr. randomly walking around Times Square Beth Leavel randomly walking around Times Square Joey Lawrence in a parking garage, driving his silver convertible Mariska Hargitay a few weeks ago at Mary Poppins Audra McDonald at Little Women And I was too young to remember, but apparently I sat next to Billy Joel when I was five and saw Beauty and the Beast
Not very excitng but I had Mex Crumm run into me at a Starbucks and then apologized. A lot. Then the next day, in the same Starbucks, Debra Monk, David Hyde Piece, Karen Ziemba, and Edward Hibbert walked in to grab coffee and sandwiches before heading to the picket line.
I also saw Laura Bell Bundy twice on Monday in random places around Times Square. Oh, and I passed Stephanie and Sebastion last weekend just walking down the street.
I was sitting at Starbucks and Gavin Lee walked by. It took me a second to realize, but then I was sad because no one around me would have known what the heck I was talking about if I'd yelled "Hey! There goes Gavin Lee!" My family isn't as into the whole Broadway thing as I am...
"It means nothing to come and sit in a theater night after night and immerse yourself in fantasy, only then to walk out the door and be unchanged in reality. This show will live on in our hearts. But where it truly must survive is in our actions, our compassion and our generousity of spirit towards one another." - Adam Pascal on the closing of RENT

My favorite sighting of all-time took place last June when I walking across 44th towards 6th and in front of Toys R Us was Ralph Fiennes. I tapped him on the shoulder, wished him a good show that night (he was in Faith Healer at the time), he thanked me and that was it.
I have seen alot of celebs (as in Hollywood celebs) at WICKED. Ummmm most Broadway celebs I have seen OUT of the theater I nearly tripped Megan Hilty in a shop once. Felt horrible but she just laughed and said "sorry" and gave a 1000 wat smile lol Called a cab and a guy got out and he looked familiar and later I realized that it was the guy who played Tarzan (i dont know his name I just reconize him in PIx) Me and my sister were in a restruant and I was holding my baby neice cuz she fell asleep on me and the girl ahread of me started laughing and I realized it was Idina, then she turned around and saw that the baby was sleeping and said "oops sorry" and then talked a little quiter (even tho she was barly talking above a whisper before that lol oo thats Idina) I have ran into Shoshana, Eden, Ana, Julia AND kristy cates in NYC outside the gersh fun times
Matthew Broderick at The Edison Diner, he was actually at the table right next to me. I was surprised he wouldn't go to some place a little more upscale.
Saw Jerry Stiller and his wife coming out of Blithe Spirit SD, TMZ followed them down Schubert Alley, and I believe the camera guy asked Jerry if he was drunk.
Also, sat next to Megan Hilty at Angus McIndoe.

Neil Patrick Harris and friend were at Shrek at Wednesday's matinee just two or three rows ahead of us. My 12 year old plucked up her bold side and went to talk to him. He was very sweet to her. Her first "star" siting...she was on cloud nine!
NOT as impressive: later at dinner that night at Moonstruck Diner (suprisingly great food, btw) was Ben Bailey, host of Cash Cab, and the production crew. My 8 yo son was beside himself. Once they were getting ready to leave, I let them go say hi. Ben and the director invited us all to go see the "cab" and spent time with the kids showing them all the cameras and the crew van. They even took pictures for their website. (Pretty impressive to my kids though!)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
Christian Borle was at a table next to me and a large group once. Our group was so big I didn't notice him until we were leaving. He looked like he was in a bad mood so I steered clear. I forget the name of the restaurant but it's an Italian one on 8th Ave not far from 47th.
I saw Brooke Shields on 47th St once, Kenita Miller in Times Square, Michael Rosenbaum twice on 44th St, just last week I saw Ashley Spencer on 8th Ave

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
Bumping this thread because Neil Patrick Harris and Taye and Idina were all at Next to Normal last night. Didn't say anything to any of them, but my inner fangirl was squeeing over NPH. He was also the first to stand for the cast at curtain call.
Amusingly to me, Taye and Idina sat behind me when I saw Next to Normal at Second Stage.
"- Julie Andrews at A Catered Affair - Liza Minelli at Spring Awakening"
One of the guys (sorry I don't know his name) from 'White Christmas' saw 'Shrek' the same night as me.
Kiril Kulish almost tripped me a few weeks ago while running to a street fair.
I walked by Riley Costello from '13' yesterday.
Not Broadway, but... there apparently was a famous Olympic gymnast at 'Wicked' last night. I have no idea who but Alex Brightman was talking about it.

It was most likely Shawn Johnson, since she's been in New York all this week for some Dancing with the Stars media stuff.
