Saw Wendie Malick at Kelli's last PIAZZA last weekend. And Geoffrey Nauffts at Matt's last PIAZZA back in August. Kathy Brier at Mario Cantone's LAUGH WHORE, and Caroline Rhea at WICKED back in previews. I feel like I've seen more, but that's all I can remember right now.
This is not quite Broadway, But I saw Rosario Dawson and Rachel Leigh Cook at See What I Wanna See on December 1.

Last night outside the Al Hirshfeld Theater (Sweet Charity) - Marc Kudish looked like he was just hanging around waiting for someone to come out after the show.
Over 25 years of theatregoing, I've seen many. Here are just a few recent ones:
Taye Diggs and Billy Porter at Two Gentlemen of Verona Lynn Cohen at Colder Than Here Alexandra Kerry at As You Like It Ryan Adams at Hurlyburly, back when he was still dating Parker Posey Judith Ivey at Hurlyburly Celia Keenan-Bolger, Jay Reiss and Brooke Adams at a matinee of The Paris Letter Robert and Vera Goulet sitting directly behind me at The Pillowman President and Senator Clinton at DemocracyUpdated On: 12/12/05 at 09:09 AM
on ONE night on 46th street, waiting for some friends, I saw:
Jackie Mason, Henry Winkler and Maura Tierney all walk by, then as I was walking from 46th to Circle in the square, I saw Lauren Graham waiting to get into Avenue Q. On my way back after seeing Spelling Bee, to meet w/ same friends, I literally ran into Henry Winkler, saw Maura Tierney and friend headed back in the other way, and then, while standing again on 46th, I saw Claire Danes head towards the Pillowman stage door, no doubt to see Billy Crudup. The funny part of the story is that Ms. Danes went into the Spamalot stage door by mistake (one of my friends was at the Spamalot stage door) and came right back out...looking kinda embarrased and went to the Pillowman sd.
As if that weren't enough, on the SAME NIGHT...we were still waiting for another friend to join us, and we started talking about the whole Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes thing (this was at the very early stages...he had just appeared on Oprah), and my friend was talking about Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson, and who walks by us? JOSHUA JACKSON. seriously. It was the strangest night. ever.
Also, a few years ago when I saw Mamma Mia, Cate Blanchett was sitting across the aisle from me, and during the curtain call she was singing and dancing, on her feet. It was pretty cute.
Chris Noth in Times Square (ran into each other and i didn't recognize him until about 10 sec. later) Hugh Jackman @ DRS (leaving out of stage door) Ethan Hawk @ Jason Robert Brown concert (waiting in line...BEHIND me) Jason “Wee Man” Acuna @ afore mentioned JRB concert (with Ethan) Stephen Sondheim @ See What I Wanna See Trichelle (from The Real World) in the West Village
and when i lived in nashville i ran into country recording artists all the time. oh...and eddie george once!
...but as far as NYC, that's all i can think of right now.
So long status quo/
I think I just let go/

A couple of years ago I saw Monica Lewinsky at RENT. And yes this was just a short time after the whole scandal. The theatre was going a bit cray during intermission once word got around that she was there. And afterwards people were chasing her out of the theatre and down the street screaming her name. She was wearing a hideous green leather jacket (nothing like calling attention to yourself).
I also saw Justin Timberlake and that one other dude from N'Sync at RENT when Joey Fatone was in it. NOw THAT was crazy...the show didn't start until 8:30 since there were screaming girls running around. Justin is quite hot in person though! Updated On: 12/12/05 at 10:12 AM
i sat next to wendy the snapple lady at LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA. she told me how much she loved SPITFIRE GRILL. she is a big theater fan. i emailed her my address and she sent me a snapple t and an umbrella.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Opening night: Helen Hunt w. husband, John Lithgow, Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dana Ivey, Mary Rodgers Guettel.
Later during the run: Boyd Gaines, Spencer Kayden (at stage door w. baby at Harelik's final performance)
After one matinee, I met Aaron Lazar on the subway before he had taken on the role of Fabrizio. He seemed genuinely surprised to be recognized. Plus he's a really nice guy.

Sondheim at Gypsy closing.
and a personal favorite: Midge Woolsey at the closing of 'Virginia Woolf'.
Oh, I went to a fair at the Meadowlands in Jersey and that MTV VJ - Jesse Camp was there outside waiting.
And the Lance thing..I was there to see them play that night at Hershey Stadium and when he cut in front of me, I was like "excuse me? You just jumped the line." He turned around and was like, "Oh my gosh, I'm really sorry." And I was like, "You know what? Just stand there...." haha =)
I saw Taye and Idina at Piazza, Jesse Tyler Ferguson at SWIWS, Jesse again walking down the street one day, and Ethan Hawke at Wicked(someone pointed him out to me).
"Nothing's lost forever. In this world, there is a kind of painful progress. Longing for what we've left behind, and dreaming ahead."
i think Joey played Roger....maybe mark...not sure.
ok sitings: ~Rosie O'Donnell and Alan Cummings at the last performance of Les Mis (at different times) ~Harvey Fierstein walked past me while I was waiting for my friend at the DRS entrance. I wasn't sure if it was him. he had the beard for Fiddler, and he smiled at me, but I was just think, "speak so I know it's you." lol. But I'm sure it was him, he walked down the street, crossed then went down the little alley way thingy right where Fiddler was, so, yeah. i think it was him. ~Robin Williams filming 'Death To Smoochy' in Times Square about a year before the film came out. It looked like he was holding up an MTV golden popcorn award. When I saw the movie, he was holding a red can of gaseoline. weird.
<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
Back in May of 1994, I took in a matinee of PASSION. Now, for those of you that may not remember, PASSION was 100 Intermissionless minutes. As the house lights dimmed, and the drum cadence began, I heard an "Excuse me" in the row behind me. I was like, "Jeez, it's already 2:08 (customary start time for matinees) ... who the heck is coming in now?!?! And they better sit soon as to not distract my attention from the upcoming nudity!" Well, I glance behind me and lo and behold, the late Gregory Hines and his gorgeous wife! About 80 minutes later, I hear another "Excuse me" and glance back to see them leaving. They hated it, and for that matter, so did I. There was a thread awhile back about the Worst Best Musical. Along with THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, PASSION (for me) is up there!
A couple years ago when John Stamos was in Cabaret, I saw Bob Saget there. He was really nice and took people wiht picture at the stage door (he came out with John). The Friday before last, I saw Daphne Rubin-Vega was at SWIWS. Idina waved at her during curtain call. I also saw: Sigourney Weaver at Enchanted April -Joan Rivers at Wonderful Town -Paul Reubens and Tim Curry (Pee Wee Herman) at Dame Edna -Jerry Stiller and Ann Meara at Spamalot -Rosie O'Donnell, Alec Baldwin, and Joel Gray at Kristin Chenoweth's Carnegie Hall concert -Liz Callaway and Jerry Herman at La Cage au Folles
And finally, at the opening of 700 Sundays, I saw Robin Williams, Caroline Rhea, Jon Bon Jovi, Rob Reiner, Robert De Niro, and Mike Wallace (That was a fun night!)
