Yes, I did my research and searched for previous theads on this, but I figured that instead of everybody making fun of me for reviving a thread from '03, I would just start a new one. So here goes:
-Ray Romano came out of the stage door @ LSOH and touched my shoulder.
-Megan Hilty @ a Clay Aiken Concert last weekend.
-Kevin Spacey @ Spelling Bee.
When I saw DRS last month Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry were in the audience. I saw Hugh when I was backstage after.

At Kristin Chenoweth's Carnegie debut, I was a few rows back from Rosie O'Donnell. What was funny was that Kristin was using a Polaroid camera to "remember this event" and she took a few pictures of the audience and then asked "Where are the strars??" and Rosie stood up with a camcorder!!

I don't know 'bout LHOS, but I know that LSOH is Little Shop of Horrors.
Also...When my mom saw Movin' Out, Billy Joel was sitting right behind her. When my cousin saw Wicked Laura Bush was there as well as Danny Devito and his wife. Also when my friends saw Wicked Ray Romano was sitting next to them, lol.
haha...i said LSOH

At Chitty, Caroline Rhea was there and is apparently really good friends with Chip. Wickedgeek should have a nice long list to contribute
Wait, are these mainstream celebrities you've seen around Broadway, or Broadway celebrities you've seen in the real world, or both?
If it's the first one, I saw Stephanie March at Chitty. It was the show where the car broke down.
If it's the second, it's definitely more.
Samuel L. Jackson AND Aretha Franklin at 'A Raisin in the Sun'
I saw Jason Mraz and his mom at DRS :)
I saw Harvey Fierstein @ LSOH.

To respond to orangeskittles, I would say that it is more likely to find celebrities at a performance than in the real world, if you get my drift, (British accent) nudge nudge, snap, snap, grin grin, wink wink, say no more
Stephen Schwartz 3 rows behind me at Virginia Woolf and outside the shops at columbus circle, kelli o'hara in the whole foods at Columbus Circle..Elaine Stritch on 44th, and Stephen Sondheim at the final perf. of Gypsy!( an incredible afternoon)
I just meant which type of celebrity they meant. Does this mean people can list all the Broadway performers people have seen walking down the street or at Starbucks or something?

Idina Menzel in Bryant Park....walked into me.
Julia Murney on her phone, on the way to a Lennon matinee....walked into me.
Various creative teams during previews of certain shows.
I saw Kelly Ripa at Lennon. It was kind of funny, in a you-had-to-be-there way; my friend *thought* he saw Kelly, but it turned out to be this random woman. A few seconds later, there's Kelly Ripa!
Nicole Kidman was in the same row as me at a matinee of The Pillowman back in April.

Al Sharpton at Rent.
Taye Diggs walked past me when I was @ the Wicked stagedoor, waiting for Idina.
