Where are the discount codes for shows starting up soon like Ragtime? Art? Queen of Versailles? Chess? Oedipus? None of these are sold out shows not needing discount codes.
With the way prices are these days, I can no longer afford to see anywhere near as much as I used to. The ones who release good discounts first, are the ones I will be purchasing, and the ones taking the gamble are the ones I likely won't.

I'd be surprised if ART has a discount code for its first ~8 weeks. You should expect discounts for the others, but probably not until after Labor Day.
Codes will be available at BroadwayBox once they are activated. IIRC, TodayTix usually does a fall sale as well, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of those titles are on TDF, too.
Buyers tend to make decisions later and later now, and most shows don't discount right out of the gate unless they KNOW it will be a tough sell (like Two Strangers).

I’m sure producers will release a one-time discount code for every show just for you to use after they read your low-key threatening post

got a Ragtime flyer in the mail yesterday - promo code is LCTRAGTIME
Orchestra $149, Loge $99 (prices avail at the box office & online and phone orders subject to service fees)
I actually got a mailer yesterday with a discount code for Ragtime and I ordered tickets for November. It’s only about 20% off, but it’s better than nothing.
LCTRAGTIME is the code. You can save the ticket fees if you go to the box office, but I can’t get there so I just paid the extra. Oh well.

The cheapest ticket with the code is $114 and that's the last two rows of the mezz. Weekend availability is slim.
I used the code to get two tickets in the orchestra for $165 each for a Sat night in November. Still super high but better than the original price of $196.

I'm gonna wait and see what their rush is.
linctix for Kyoto are almost sold out except the October 21st performance. The ones for Ragtime are sold out. That being said, for Floyd Collins, they sold out at first, and then they put more up for sale. It just depends on ticket sales.
