Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 3/19/17

Wow Significant Other. I don't remember recently seeing a show that low in capacity and grosses. It also looks like Amélie was heavily comped.

I have no idea how or why In Transit and Significant Other are still running. Of course, that's said every week. LOL
WOW at Hello, Dolly!

How soon will Jeffrey pull the plug on Significant Other? Hopefully they have reserves but...
And jfc In Transit- shut it down.

Well I don't think we need to be worried about Come From Away anymore! Even with the discounts that are out there they made more than Cats did. Almost 900k! Poor Significant Other, I can't see this lasting any longer. I wonder when we will get a closing notice?

I know they're two different animals, but Groundhog Day grossed more in two performances than In Transit did for an entire eight-performance week. When will they leave the Circle???

On Your Feet selling tickets though Jan 2018? LOLOL....Gloria would be better off donating that money she is losing to some Cuban cause. The Nederlanders must be giving her some break on the rent.

Does the Groundhog Day number include the free first preview? It says 2 performances so I'm not sure.

That doesn't mean anything. Closing shows don't have to stay until the date through which they sold tickets.

While I may not be the Jeffrey you're referring to, I'm sure the producers are hoping to keep it open when Tony nominations are announced to see if they could get some boost in ticket sales.

You weren't. Jeffrey Richards. I'm glad you have magical mind reading powers connected to his, though. That's convenient.

Kudos to Hello Dolly! $196 average paid ticket! Wow! Is that a record?
First week of Hamilton previews their average paid ticket was only $138.

Come From Away has certainly picked up steam. Wish it the best of luck!
Miss Saigon and Amelie I hope can improve as their previews come to a close.
In Transit, Significant Other and On Your Feet! I just feel sorry for. How OYF has released tickets for 2018 with grosses like that is just painful to look at.

I must say, right now, I'm taking all these numbers in while sitting on the TKTS steps. Pretty surreal for me. That being said, I'm sad to see Significant Other's numbers.

The Nederlanders are co-producers, no?
I feel like SO is more in the running to win the tony award than other shows, so I can't really see it closing.

This repeated so many times and I don't know why.

If a mod could delete this extra post it would be much appreciated. Connection issues made me unsure if it went through when posting.
