Wow what a rough week! I thought because of tourists during 4th of July that shows would do just as well if not better than the week before.

Will be interesting to see if the summer bump is more subdued than past years. I thought that Neverland, Kinky Boots, AAIP, and Something Rotten would be doing a lot better by now. I guess next week will be the 'tell.'

It was very very hot. Tourists went home after the holiday.

Huh, I hadn't noticed before how far On Your Feet had dropped both in capacity and gross potential. I wonder if it might shutter at the end of the year?

The three jukebox musicals - Jersey Boys, Beautiful and On Your Feet - are experiencing steadying declines. It will be interesting to see if the opening of Motown this week will further impact these audiences.

I'm surprised at how low On Your Feet has dropped. Maybe all of the Gloria fans have seen it already.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

I agree about On Your Feet. That seems like a show where the summer tourist crowd is essential. If they can't get that then I think an early January closing is likely, if not before.

Jersey Boys really needs to go. It's just limping along at the point.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I agree. Jersey Boys has had a nice long run. Plus, think of all plays/small musicals that could go in the August Wilson.

This season shows me why I will never invest in Broadway. I would totally have thought that Fully Committed would have been a big financial hit & put money into it- the Act of God of this year. I really thought his TV fan base would translate.

Grossing 40%, there's no way this show can last the year. They will burn through whatever profits they will have made. I expect an earlier closing, unless they can convince Robbie F to return to boost sales. Or Tony Yazbeck!

Does the 4th of July weekend ticket special account for some of the revenue drops? Weren't those tickets $40?

I can't imagine Fully Committed isn't making money. He didn't do it for the paycheck. He did it for the fact that he's in a one man show on Broadway, and probably hoping for a Tony. So I'm sure his paycheck is small, and they're at least gonna break even.

It says top ticket paid for Hamilton is $475.... but aren't premium tickets sold for $549 nowadays? Just found that odd.

the tickets were sold months ago. the price shown is the top price sold in the frame.
