This series of videos are fun.

This does make me miss when male dancers were more lithe and lean.  Their lines were better, their feet were better and they didn't all try to have gogo boy bodies.

There is, and good for him. But we should go back to the topic before we get deleted or locked.

I too miss when not everyone on Broadway had the body of a gogo boy, but outside of the shows they’re obviously very nice to look at.

Wow.  Someone went out of their way to give this thread a rub down.  They obviously don’t follow Charlie on social media otherwise they would had known that all the trash talk is ok.    We will have to keep it in the BWW underground.

I’ve lusted after Charlie since seeing him in MEMPHIS. ❤️  He has always stood out with his large linebacker-like physique next to the thinner, lankier ensemble men. I love watching him perform, moving as lightly and smoothly as more traditionally-sized men. It’s always fun when he pops up in the ensemble for the Kennedy Center Honors and other award shows. He’s usually in front since he is often assistant choreographer, particularly when Rob Ashford has choreographed, but also likely due to his great movement and his shorter stature (I think he’s 5’6 or 5’7’ish). I got to briefly meet him last April when he worked a BC/EFA bucket following CHER. Definitely a Southern gentleman quality to him. Ryan Steele and he had a short romance and I loved the contrast of the physiques.

I love Charlie and find him incredibly talented. His dancing is marvelous. I did stop following him on Instagram because he comes across as incredibly vapid and thirsty. His posts don't offer insight into his talent or how he works-the reasons I tend to follow people.

He sticks his tongue out a lot, cocks his face and acts like a teen. It's like some teen influencer's account, not a Broadway choreographer. I lost interest quickly.

I'm sorry --- but if you are looking to Instagram (or Twitter, Facebook, etc.) for deep artistic insight and intellectual creative discussions, you are only setting yourself up for a lifetime of disappointment.

I follow lots of creatives who don't act like they are attention seeking teens. Not disappointed at all.
