The cast is in the recording studio today and it looks like Broadway Records is preserving it, according to the posts on their Instagram! So excited we are getting a new recording of this. Hoping it’s the full show like the original album. No word on release date yet.

Hope they do a Vinyl release. But considering the length of the show (if they do a complete recording), it may never happen.

Big same. Frankly, I'm glad the show is back and that people are discovering it in SPITE of nearly everything specific to this production.

Idk, I feel like the OBCR has some pretty iconic performances on it. And I will take Veanne Cox’s Rose over Caissie Levy’s iteration any day of the week.

The original production is perfection in every way, from the costume design to the cast album, the direction, the performances, the iconic poster art…it is in definitive in every way and I can’t imagine it will ever be topped.
