This ticket site keeps telling me I’m offline when I try to get to the seating map, and when I try to select a ticket, it tells me I’ve been inactive and to start again. Now, my 15 minute “turn” to purchase has expired and I’m back in line behind 3000 people.

So, besides the website struggling with the volume of ticket buyers, there are no more cheap tickets for partial view seats? $79 is a joke for those Z-ZZ rows and side balcony.

Of course not. They’re losing a cut of concession and merch purchases by reducing the experience to one part. They had to make up for it somewhere.
I had a seat selected and when to complete my purchase before the website spazzed and said I was offline. I've been attempting to get back to it again, but it just keeps spazzing. What a mess.

I got my tickets for the second performance. I could choose my own seats from the map and everything went pretty smoothly. But I was one of the first people in I think. There were only a few ahead in the queue.
Prices are much more than they were when they closed obviously. But with this being me one chance to see it, I just went for it.
I got the email exactly at 10:12 and pretty immediately was able to select any seat for the first performance. Also, the partial view seats are not bad and $79 is a great price for them.

I had a similar experience. Jumped right on the link at 10:12, was about 100 back in the queue, and had my pick of seats for the first preview, spent a few minutes going through the pricing structure, and purchase complete by 10:23. Decided to splurge on this one, as Row K in the orchestra, with all of the legroom, is my favorite row in any Broadway theater. I was the at the first previews of the original version, excited to be at the first preview of the revised version-Does anyone know if there has ever been a Broadway revision this drastic a few years into a long-running show?
Yeah, this website is a joke. Twice I was able to get in and select a 2nd row seat... but the site would then freak out and say I was offline before I could purchase the tickets. I tried my Mac, my phone, different browsers, and nothing seemed to work. I thought Telecharge's website was bad. This one obviously wasn't constructed to handle any sort of substantial traffic. Now the queue line is paused, so the waiting game continues. VERY frustrating!
They held up the queue for a bit, which helped. I was finally able to get the seat I wanted and had already tried to buy twice. Third time's a charm, I guess.
DITTO! Whatever they did to fix the problem worked, as I was FINALLY able to cruise through the purchase process, and grab the exact seat I wanted! So a morning's worth of frustration ended up being worth it in the long run.
11640 in front of me when I looked just now on my lunch break.
Some of the partial view seats ARE that bad. I got a comp for a box seat for Part 2 once and was so glad that my friend (who had not seen it) had opted not to watch it from there. Hopefully they aren’t selling those for $80?

Yeah, these seats go for $79. When I saw the play back in 2018 during its popularity peak, I only could afford the orchestra row Z on resale. My view was cut in half which made the special effects not so special. This price isn't right.
A friend of mine was somehow able to get through and got us Dress Circle Row K for the first night back. I'm really excited to see the show again and see the new version and the Year 3 cast finally make their debut.

When the show was on Ticketmaster, the dynamic pricing was automated. Pretty much every show is selling non-discounted tickets. I noticed that despite the large number of purple queuing, there was plenty of availability. I think prices will start to normalize once shows finally resume.
Got my tix about 10:15 today after a short delay… I think. BUT no confirmation email. Got an error message on the last page, followed by “your order is complete” message. But 7+ hours later, no email/receipt/confirmation. Am pretty sure it did complete as it’s showing pending on my credit card app, but odd there’s no email yet. Anyone else get confirmation?
Went back in and got through the queue really fast. Decided to look for the same seat I had when it first opened (I did that whole first ticket sale thing). I sat in the balcony. Row F seat 19 (A perfect view). My tickets were $40.00 each (Full price). That seat is now $99.00. Side sections are listed as partial view and are 70 some dollars. Since I saw it when it first opened, I will wait until a discount pops up.

After queuing a second time, my transaction went smoothly and I did get a confirmation email right away.
