This says she's Caucasian, though who knows where that info is from. She looks white, though, and to quote Katori Hall (in an open letter objecting to a white person playing MLK in a play she had writen), the point is "visually articulating a certain skin experience"; i.e., that it's immediately obvious that the main characters are played by people of color, without any research or prior knowledge. The casting of non-white people in Hamilton is essential, not incidental. So while white actors are in the ensemble (playing minor roles like Seabury and occasionally going on as understudies), Hamilton deliberately creates opportunities for non-white actors to be actively sought, instead of the usual fray, wherein the roles available to them are roles in which they simply don't happen to be excluded.
