The production will run February 15 - March 27, 2011 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre at the La Jolla Playhouse.
Current Cast (so far): *but it could change*
Brian D'Arcy James, Idina Menzel, Christian Borle, Sally Wilfert, Dick Latessa, Carmen Ruby Floyd, Chauntee Schuler, Eliseo Roman, Georgi James, and Andrew Rannell.
Sherie Renee Scott and Craig Beiko were cast in the original workshop in BDJ and IM's roles.

Posted: 7/17/10 at 2:42pmThey haven't announced it yet, but it is pretty official. These are the actors currently in rehearsals. The cast as been the same since the Nov'09 workshops except for Idina, Christian, and BDJ who are the only cast changes I am aware of.

Isn't Christian in Angels in America? I know that it officially closes before this but I'm sure they were casting actors who could transfer.

I would guess Christian Borle, given his age and position in billing in that post.
I'm very excited for this. Love the movie, love William Finn, like James Lapine. It's a great marriage of material and composer.

I agree ljay! A great part for her return to Broadway! Based of a movie yes, but a damn good one.
