- Donna has been going on cause the other understudies haven't been fully rehearsed yet. They're not fully ready yet. That's why others haven't gone on yet.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
I think either Jessica Lee Goldyn or Mara Davi would make fantastic future Velmas in Chicago. One can hope.

JBradshaw IS the expert on all things related to Chicago. Let's just say that he knows "stuff" about the show.

Terra C will return to the Broadway company as Velma, from November 30, 2015-- January 3, 2016 (according to a very well placed theatre source.) AFW is working/visiting/vacationing in Japan for several weeks. No word yet as to the next Roxie after Rumer Wilis. As soon as I find out, I'll let you know.

I wonder if Terra will then jump back on to the tour since it's supposed to start up again on January 12, 2016.

Maybe AFW is headed to Japan to play Velma in that production with Fox as Roxie?

Hmmm, this is an intriguing choice. I don't know much about this person.

I would love to see Nene as Mama Morton. I'm still thinking of visiting NYC...probably the day after Xmas. I have never seen a white winter (i.e. snow).

Here is a Broadway.com interview with Charlotte Kate Fox (the newest Roxie) and Jason Danieley (Billy Flynn). She's a delightful and he's quite the suave guy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oko9Jyo__00

Happy 19th Birthday to the current revival of "Chicago"! It opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on November 14, 1996! I wonder who will be the next Roxie, after Ms. Fox leaves tomorrow. I'm thinking it will be one of these three ladies: Dylis Croman, Paige Davis or Charlotte D'Amboise. I'd be delighted to see any of those talented Roxies.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a little clip of the current show, with Charlotte Kate Fox as Roxie. It is a promo for the upcoming show in Japan. The show is looking good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQVM2Ed6NsU

Currently, Dylis Croman is playing Roxie Hart until November 22nd. She will re-team with Terra C when the national tour re-starts in January 2016. Later on November 30th,. both Terra C (Velma) and Bianca Marroquin (Roxie) reunite at the Ambassador.
