I like when he does the whole "Aw shucks, I hope I sing better than I sang in that OTHER movie." Um, did he never take any acting class? They tell you to NEVER make excuses.

Well, either this is a legit audition tape ( i use the word "legit" very loosely) or a very lame attempt at getting attention for a stalled career. Anyway you cut it, it's just creepy.

They remind me of that scene from ME AND MY SHADOWS (the Judy Garland miniseries) where mean Busby Berkley is screaming at poor, terrified Tammy Blanchard during the filming of I've Got Rhythm.

In other words, Chris Klein would make an AWESOME Judy Garland.

Just a guess, but I'll bet someone in casting thought it was funny and passed it around. Eventually, it got to someone who went public with it.

Just a guess! No inside info here. But the fact that it's just now surfacing is kinda odd, since auditions for the film would have been in the early pre-production stages, years ago.

My guess ALSO is that SAG, his agent, his manager, and the production company will all want to know exactly who leaked this. It's a big violation of union rules, for one.

I kinda feel for the tone-deaf, crazy-eyed goob. He gave it a shot, but WOW. A bad audition, indeed.
