Coming from Michael Riedel's latest article interviewing Harvey Weinstein, who also says Kelsey Grammer will be back in 2016. He wants Pine as Barrie, to attract a tween audience. Thoughts?
I would make a return visit for him.
Maybe if he held his accent better than Morrison.

I was under the impression Grammer wasn't coming back (thought he had enough of what seems to be a toxic environment backstage-I mean the wardrobe people left). I do wonder if he was contractually obligated to return. As for Pine...he'd be better as King George if Jonathan Groff has to take a leave for his film.
Pine would be great, but would he attract a "tween" audience any better than Morrison?
If they want tweens, why not just go for Nick Jonas, Darren Criss, or Zac Efron?

My feelings exactly. What movies has he done that would attract that audience? Into The Woods, I guess. Although I don't think that qualifies him for having a tween audience.

Pine would get the gays guys like me, lol!
I hadn't wanted to see Neverland, but with Chris Pine I would
Harvey doesn't know what he wants. He wants the show to turn from a family show to a show for adults, but yet he wants to attract tweens.

Kelsey!!!!!!!!! It's happening. I'm still gonna see the show with Terrence Mann (I'll rush it) but I'm so back if Kelsey returns.

Hm... I don't think I would want to go see Chris Pine in a musical. I don't know why, but I have never been a big fan of his. In my opinion, he has not played any roles that really showed much acting chops (but this could be a lack of opportunity issue). I did not like his voice that much in Into the Woods either. I know that getting a big name would help the box office, but if it were my call, in this case, I would much prefer an actor in the theater community.
Why would Chris Pine want to make his Broadway debut as a replacement in a terrible show?
Can he sing it? "Stronger" isn't exactly an easy song for a non-singer.
I wish they'd just revive Fat Pig.

Guys, Harvey just said his name is on a list of possibilities. He didn't tell Reidel that anything was set in stone revolving Barrie. I wonder if Laura Michelle Kelly will extend.
If Laura doesn't extend I want Alison luff to replace her. Also why don't they just bring back Jeremy?

Although it would be worth seeing with JJ, I doubt he would come back to be honest. Also, He's been a busy dude as of late with Supergirl and all.

Jeremy Jordan obviously wouldn't come back, but anyways I could tell from the article that Harvey is looking for a "name" to keep the show afloat during the slow months to have a duo combination again like Morrison and Grammer opened the show last spring!

As awesome as it would be to see Jeremy in it....I'd say that it's incredibly unlikely that would ever happen.
Chris might be okay.
Why did the Wardrobe people leave?
I remember reading that many of the wardrobe people were apart of the show since the ART run so maybe their 1 year contract was up.
There is no way that Chris Pine is going to make his broadway musical debut in a show where the cast and crew are jumping ship, the critics have already panned it, and will never garner him a tony nominee.
