....every role that was ever written for any actress or actor ever.
Let's start....I'd really like to see her play Rumpleteazer, Rafiki and the cheese grater.
Velma Von Tussle!
Margaret in Light in the Piazza
Mama Rose!
The electric guitar. With her teeth. Now THAT would be revolutionary.
Personally, I'd like to see her play Paulette in LB...but that's just me...

An entire CD of showtunes played on nose trumpet.
hmmm, Christine as Norma Desmond... Loved her 'As If We Never Said Goodbye' at the Kennedy Center.
Margaret White
effie.
BroadwayEnthusiast2, I could see her as Velma, too.

Ebersole should play everything ever written. Okay, yeah, great. She just ended a tiring run in a marathon of a show. She's exhausted. She also has a family that I'm sure she'd love to spend some time with. Let's let her rest for a while before we start thinking of how great she'd be as Vera Simpson, Mama Rose, Mrs. Johnson, etc.
Edna - Hairspray
King (Queen) Arthur or Lady of the Lake - Spamalot
Elle - Legally Blonde
Charity Hope Valentine in SWEET CHARITY
Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF
Tommy Walker in THE WHO'S TOMMY
Cassie in A CHORUS LINE
clearly all the dance roles ever written.
millie? i think so.
Only if she dances as Edie in "House We Live In"

Calm down, jv. Joke thread, much?
I know it's a joke thread, and that it's been brought up before, but I think she'd be brilliant in Dear World. Maybe Encores! could do it? I find myself thinking about her in that part frequently.
Ooh! I'd also like to see her in Applause.
And while it'd be nice to see a whole production of The Grass Harp, I wouldn't need the whole thing if I could just hear her belt out "Baby Love Miracle Show."
