My review of Keala, as well as the rest of my review to include the comments about Clay, was my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. And as I've said before, I will not apologize for it, because I stand firm in it, and I backed those opinions up with reasons why I felt the way I did. It's too bad you got butthurt over it, but the reality of working in the entertainment industry is that not everyone is going to love 100% of what you do. Sometimes you'll get a less than golden review. Mine was unbelievably mild in comparison to many I've seen in the past.
she is a talented singer she was far too over-the-top some Aretha Franklin wannabe she drew your attention away from where it was supposed to be She came across as though she was trying WAY too hard I was disappointed She was far too overstated obnoxious throughout most of the show.
Again, the one negative thing you posted was "Aretha Franklin wannabe" and even that, you posted out of context. I said that was how the character came across, not that she IS one.
Your point? The character IS a school teacher. Which is what I was saying. Her approach to the character seemed inappropriate to the role... which is that of a school teacher. She played it like she was on an episode of VH1 Divas, and it didn't sit well with me. Again, sorry to hear about your illiteracy.
dblue, you are possibly the least self-aware person I never met. If you don't see how obnoxious and insulting your review was to both Clay and Keala, you are beyond help.
Your friend told you to troll BWW. Thanks for admitting it finally.
"Mikers, I have to ask, who's the enchanting woman in your avatar? I'd like to take her out on the town some time."
------------------------------------------------------ How tragic and immature of you that you think calling a man an enchanting woman is clever in some homophobic way.
A psychologist would have a field day with this. Why do you take everything so personal? I'm going to assume you are a failed singer/actor. Or something.
Mikers, if you read this poster's same review and it wasn't Clay being discussed, would you be as horrified? Do you think that your regard for him might have clouded your judgment a bit?

Yes for sure I would. I hate it when pedestrians are so harsh. They have no idea how hard it is to be good and no idea how soul sucking it is to be insulted that way. I feel like I would if it was me. I hated what she said about Keala just as much but I don't think Keala was the intended target. She was just slammed to cover her real target.
