Well, IF Constantine does join the show, and IF he's playing Sammy ... maybe this means David Josefsberg will be going on as Sammy more than he is now? :-x
Don't forget, David Josefsberg will be on medical leave for 5 weeks following his week as Sammy. Andy Karl will be doing his track, either bumping Matt Allen up to Sammy first cover or takng over that job himself.

A lot of us did just join today when we learned of this possible news. Despite the negativity of a couple of people, Constantine still has a large fan base, most of which are not on the internet at all. At his recent NE tour he made even more fans. Doesn't the fact that a lot of us joined here just to learn more about Constantine being in this show kind of say something about him possibly drawing in more people? If not for Constantine, those of us who have registered here and posted, we would have had no idea about this show or planned to attend it. For every one of us who came here, there are dozens of others who did not but are also excited about the possibility of Constantine doing this show.
I admit I don't know much about the theater, sorry, but if this show is in trouble like I've seen written here, couldn't it only help if those 200 fans that someone who should remain nameless came to see it. More would come from around the country. Yes, his fans would fly in to see him perform on stage. It just seems that this could be a good thing for this show.
Someone said he was just a faze, but if so this is the longest faze I've ever seen. Most of us have been behind him and supporting him for over a year and a half now, with no intentions of stopping our support. It just seems to me this could be a win-win situation for everyone involved.

News that Constantine may be appearing on Broadway in "The Wedding Singer" is exciting - of course it is going to draw in some new posters who are fans of his.
Constantine has a much larger fanbase than some people here realize, and there are MANY, MANY of them who would be thrilled at the chance to fly into NYC from all over the country for the opportunity to experience him performing LIVE on Broadway!!!!!!!

Oh, damnit. Good call. How I completely blanked on Joberg being out is beyond me. Okay, maybe he'll be on as Sammy a lot more when he comes back? LOL And I'm assuming they're going to bump Matt Allen up to the first Sammy cover rather than have Andy learn the role.
