Has there been a formal announcement of which role he's being considered for??
No, but when I first heard this, that was the closest role I could see for him out of all of them, and I still don't think he'd work for it. I'd hope the casting people wouldn't even consider him for the others.

As much as I adore Matt Saldivar, if it's any role BUT Sammy (which is honestly the only role I could ever see Constantine doing in this show if he has to be in it), I'm going to throw a massive fit of some kind, LOL.
PARISinNYC- Thanks. I think I am just gonna sit back now with my "popcorn" and watch this whole thing unfold. It definitely beats what's on tv right now!
Sammy is Robbie's bestfriend and the bassist of their band, Simply Wed. He's a bit of an idiot with a bad haircut, but he has a huge heart and used to date Holly (Julia's cousin).
Note to all new people in here: must watch video clip linked to above - now I get it.
The hair? 80's mullet-ish.
Sammy is passionate - real about his music.
Those of us who caught a show on Constantine's recent tour that just ended last week in Hampton Beach, NH most definitely will say the same is true of him...
Question: If Constantine is going to play Sammy, why is Matt Saldivar leaving the production? (sorry if this was already discussed earlier).
I don't think Matt had any intention of leaving the show, so that would mean they're buying out the remainder of his contract and replacing him with Constantine.
but how do Broadway contracts work? Do they have to keep paying them if the show closes?
Also, ConFan is notorious for bringing cameras and videos into venues... in fact, one of their leaders basically said it is their job to break rules to get contraband (paraphrasing). Am I correct in assuming that sort of thing is frowned upon on Broadway?
ConFan is a name coined by former or waning Constantine fans to describe the obsessed ones who think he can do no wrong. They live in Confanlandia.
There are some who are realistic. Like me! Go for it Constantine, on Broadway. He claims to be an actor... his TV show did not get picked up, which I understand is very cutthroat. But I am not ready to call him a thespian based on some Rent contraband.

Thanks for the answer about Matt. How common is this practice of buying out an actor's contract prior to the end of a run?
Is there a link on this site that would give the showtimes/days for this play? Also, link to buy tickets that explains seat pricing? Was wondering if any of these show times may already be sold out. Thanks.
